Hi you all;
Lots of folks are saying MSE is a good deal. I have a Dell
Dimension 3000running MS XP SP2, and I wanted a good AV.
It appears that many folks express a caution: get some HIPS and
Behavioral AV action going also.
Question: Is Threatfire the HIPS to add to MSE, Malwarebytes,
and/or SUPER AntiSpy? All of them, some others?
I would like some ideas please! Thanks from Ellie!
Best!

Why haven't you updated to SP3?

I use the paid version of Malwarebytes along with
privatefirewall7(free).

Security?

And there are plenty more after SP3 that will do the same.

Sorry Eleanor; I missed your post because I have totally blocked
gmail.

I have SP2 on this machine, SP3 on the other one. I'm not sure
about security for the usual stuff, but I'm quite impressed with
SP3. It seems more solid, better performing. Will upgrade this
box to SP3 as soon as I set the other machine to take the place
of this one temporarily.

This'll allow me to build up a new HD on this box; it'll then go
back to being my #1 machine. That's the plan.

You should block google groups not gmail. I have google groups
blocked except for Why Tea.

Actually, Duddits, I forgot to mention that I've also got google
groups blocked. I received such a bombardment of diarrhea from
each of them that it's true blessed relief to have both of them
out of my life.

If I miss a few useful posts, the price will still have been
worth it.
