DVDFlick is slow and limited in features but it works.
You're really selling it. Are you a shareholder?
:O)
I use it also, very simple. NB, I have had people tell me the discs
sometimes wouldnt play on their older stand-alone DVD decks. Slowing
the write speed seems to help.
Always check the settings.
It's freeware.
Actually, I've since moved on to $ware which is faster and more versatile.
But since this is a freeware newsgroup...
I know, I was just kidding.

I know, me too. DVDFlick served me well when I was starting out. Very simple
and reliable I found.

I'm not sure you've phrased that right. Any number of burning utilities
will burn avi as data and most dvd players now will play avi files.

DVD2SVCD will do what you want (ignore the name)

You'll also need QuEnc
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/quenc.cfm
*however* ***OT*** Why not spend around $40.00 and buy a player that will
play DivX/Xvid. you can save money/time because you'll be able to fit 3-6
movies on a disk and won't have to go to the trouble of converting avi
files to DVD.

By the way. Will a divx 3.1 - 5 capable DVD Player be able to play back
divx 6 or 7 files in the future?
