I have Delphi V and I just got a laptop computer with Vista. I have not
been successful in loading Delphi. I got error messages when I launch
the program. Can anyone help?

big crutch in Vista when trying to run programs.. on Top of that, you

Well it turns out I had to return the computer. We did get a full refund
from Office Depot. I kept having problems with Vista and I have decided
to get a laptop with XP, which is what I have on my desktop. Thanks
anyway for your help. Vista along with the its author, Microsoft, are
horrible.

I hear you should install Delphi outside of the Program Files folder
because Vista restricts writing inside that folder.

Also, use a shortcut to Delphi.exe and in its settings, choose to run as
administrator.

Looks like I will be running D5 on Vista soon - ordered a new notebook
today.
