They'll transfer to the iPod as whatever they are in iTunes. Changing
tracks from one category type to another is not something iTunes will
do for you (unfortunately). Which leaves all of my radio programs as
Music, indeed.
The "Radio"/"Spoken Word" selection you mention is just an index to
Internet radio stations, it won't affect your files. Plus, you can't
transfer those to an iPod, they're only listenable through iTunes.
(You can capture the sound using an external application like Audio
Hijack, save the files, and import them into iTunes - but iTunes
itself won't do that)

None of that matters with screenreaders as even if they are using direct
video intercept they get their bits going into the vid card, not from
the screen/I guess they could read white on white, and with out eye
strain....grin... much of the time they are getting info from other
vectors such as virtual buffers, anyway. (NVDA does no video intercept
as I understand)
