I see my posts made it/extra fwd'ed msgs....

I just received my google groups e-mailed copy of msgs posted on this
group, and see that indeed my linux post, and next to the last t-bird
review post made it. I looked five minutes before I tried to fwd them
from sent newsgroup msgs folder, and nothing showed up on Albasani. I
have been getting _most of the new msgs fine, but 2 from Chris have also
alluded me. Maybe I'm missing msgs from other groups too, as I only get
posts from three groups by e-mail. Seems strange that thunder-bird
would not pick up a few msgs while getting the vast majority? Or the
bad connect?(I'm at work since the afternoon, and won't be home to the
stable connection till Sunday. I can see that maybe the t-bird beta
would screw up an index when sending a msg written off line maybe, but
at least two of the mystery msgs were not mine.
Anyone heard of this kind of randomness?

I'd be more inclined to think its google. The best way is really to use a
news server properly I imagine. At least then, if messages get a bit hit and
miss, one can delete the headers and redownload the whole group if required.

At the risk of sounding rude-"read what I wrote"...I was able to read my
msgs in the google digest that they sent me at around 7 hours utc. I
could not find the msgs on my NEWS server five minutes before I got the
e-mail from google. I was suspecting Albasani's server, but that
doesn't make much since either, or does it?
Most likely reason seems to be my bad isp here at work, but I couldn't
find Chris's msg on the server checking with a good connection at home
yesterday morning either. (read her msg in the middle of my night
before last's google e-mail of this groups recent posts) Google's only
screw up has been to send copies of the same post two mails in a row,
but this was months ago. I don't get the summary, but a complete digest
of this group and a couple of others. I was starting to delete them
with out checking on the days I had a chance to check the group with my
news client, but now I am wondering.
Btw-since I have installed the t-bird betas I have not been on over to
the google groups/too many clicks, and I'd have to copy and re copy to
spell check as I sometimes do, and with this connection the chance
ofdoble or lost posts... It's still not such a bad interface for me though.
