Yes, I know Vartox diappeared off Usenet some time ago - years, maybe?
Still if by chance he's still around....

There's been a Vartox sighting in Power Girl #7 this week!

Occasionally lurking, seldom posting, but always good to be
remembered, lol.

So, was it a cameo or a bigger appearance?

Hiya, V.

It was a major appearance. Vartox is after Power Girl. He wants her
to have his babies. Story continues next month.

Vartox still looks like a Village Person, too.

I know I'm going Black Lantern on this thread but I picked up those two
issues of Power Girl based on it. Looking at Vartox's homeworld was an eye-
opener for sure. I remember Vartox from the 70s, and I have the comic when
he and Superman met and fought, but if there was a comic that showed his
homeworld I certainly don't have it.

After he revealed the way he wanted to use Power Girl as his mate in #8 I
was still confused about how that was to work. I'll have to reread that
issue.

All in all, it was some pretty funny writing.

It was. Power Girl has become a must-read for me.

Let me add that I think the art is fully up to the writing.
