I'm with you on that one. I feel very lucky to have been able to meet Roy Brown
on a handful of occasions and although I never got to go to The Bozo Show as a
child, I was able to make the trip about 8 years ago. Cooky, Spiffy and Wizzo
were all there. It was truly a magical day. As I entered Studio One and saw the
flickering portrait of Cooky on the wall, I felt like I was walking into Oz,
when the black and white world turns into technicolor. I feel so blessed to
have experienced it. Especially since Cooky, Spiffy and Wizzo were all gone
from the show within 2 years nand the show went into a different format with a
whole new cast of clowns. With Roy's passing, I cherish this memory even more.
On some Chicago TV website there is a poem posted that makes reference to Bob
Bell waiting for Roy Brown in heaven, pie in hand. LOL!
