A Party in Honor of The Cocoanuts

On March 8, 2008 I posted this message;

On August 3, 2009, as we all know will mark the eightieth anniversary
of the Marx Brother's first film; "The Cocoanuts". I am very aware
this date is well over a year away, but I would like to start getting
some ideas for a party I'm planning to have in honor of this
occasion.
For one, all guest should come dressed as one of the Brothers, or at
least in 20's and 30's vintage clothing, also, I would like to have
some beer kegs with "Kippered Herring" printed on the sides, a big
cooking pot of punch with four ice sculpted ducks in it, some
cocoanut
shaped drinking cups, plus all guest will receive a box of Animal
Crackers, and of course a screening of the film. Anyone here have any
suggestion?

Well, my party never happened with me being two thousand miles away
from home and all. I would like to thank all of those who offered some
great suggestions for this event. So on this day I hope all fans raise
a glass and toast to eighty years of Marx Brothers movie greatness!
