Hi, everyone (or anyone still here),

I guess it's time to accept the fact that Usenet is dead. There are
still some fine Laurel & Hardy sites out there. Check out
LaurelandHardyCentral.com for a really great one, guided by my ol'
buddy, John (who also seems to have vanished).

This group was hard to get going. Once in place, it was fantastic!
Pretty much took the place of the ITJ, didn't it? We got tired of
waiting for old news delivered even later, and this was the place to
be.

Times change, and we must change with it. I don't even know if any of
the old folks are seeing this note. Perhaps they are long gone. I just
didn't want to sign off before giving a farewell.

Thanks for all the news, the rumors, the speculation, and the debate.
It was all in great fun. Harmon is gone, and "Hats Off" still hasn't
shown up. Still, it's been a great ride, and I thank you all for the
joy along the way.
