I first met Tye at The Sons of the Desert--(as you all of you here
know), the international Laurel and Hardy appreciation society, that
meets in Manhattan at the Players Club...
I knew they he had once been an actor, but he was very private.
More importantly, whenever we ran into each other, Tye was also a
wonderful gentleman.
