In the same manner that Caligula and Mussolini would not only
eliminate their enemies but remove all evidence of their existence,
for some reason Amazon has removed mention of Kevin Booth from their
page on his book about Bill:

http://www.amazon.com/Bill-Hicks-Michael-Bertin/dp/0007198302/ref=sid_av_dp

(I take that back -- they do credit Booth as the "customer" who
provided them with a scan of the book cover!)

In other Amazon news, Bill Hicks is now officially British:

I would say that he's due for a knighthood, but given that McCartney
is one and Lennon isn't, I take it that you can't become a knight
posthumously (It'd be hell getting the Queen to come within a mile of
you at that point, I suppose...)

How about if we say he was catholic, could there be a chance of sainthood?

Nah, they keep there own records, and besides you don't get sainthood
for being a good person you get it for advancing the church. I would
think you might more likely get something out of the Mormons or
Tibetans but even then it's going to be a lot more cash than you could
pony up.

I must say I was let down a little by this book. I like a "no holds
barred" account but the comma abuse left me struggling to actually parse
the text. Engaging content, tiring read.

Maybe performed in Britain is the stretch :)

The thing is....

This is a reprint of a book that when it first came out had a compilation CD
with the same (Maybe not all) sketches on it.

But then it didn't have the word *British* in the title...

(Came in a nice hardbox with the same pic on the front. Just not the word
british)

I wonder why they added it !?!?!
