Well we begin a brand new year and I wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR.
I must apologize for the delay in getting out this edition, I spent some
time in hospital and thus the delay in getting it out.

This is just our second edition and I hope that we will improve as time
goes on. As you will see there is more to offer this month. I would
encourage all to use this forum to promote your individual collecting
interests. If you are a collector you can send in your buy, sell, trade
notices etc. and we will include them in our monthly e-mail without any
charge to you. We would like to see more participating. If you are
interested in having others contact you and want to let others know what
your particular interests are then just send me an e-mail with your
collecting interests and your contact address and I will post it in the
directory section. There is no charge for this service.

INFORMATIVE ARTICLES WANTED: If you have some interesting information or
articles that you would like to volunteer, then send them along and we
will take a look at it. We are also looking for volunteers to contribute
regular feature articles. If you have an idea and would like to
contribute in this way then by all means get in touch with me.

OFFICIAL MEMBERSHIPS: You can now apply for an official membership
number. To receive your official membership just send us your name,
address (both e-mail and postal mailing address) and detail your
collecting interests. If you want to be listed in the directory you must
request it. We want our members to know that we do not sell lists of
names to dealers or other parties.

NEW FEATURES: KIDS CORNER: We do have children in the club and we want
to do everything we can to encourage them in this great hobby of ours.
We have implemented A STAMPS FOR KIDS program where we plan to have some
contests and essays where kids can win some great philatelic prizes and
also some free stamp give aways. I know there are lots of adults out
there who have extra stamps lying around and if you would like to help
out then just put them in an envelope and send them in and we will see
that they go for the kids. Please be sure to let me know that they are
for the kids program when you send them.

COMPUTER PROBLEMS: Well I hope that 1998 will be better as far as
equipment problems go. We experienced a number of crashes, lost or

Worldwide stamps you send plus cost for return postage you will receive
100 Canada or Worldwide in Exchange you can cross exchange if you want

for Worldwide. You can request trades in multiples of 100 if you wish up
to a maximum of 1000 don't forget to send an extra 10 stamps per 100

I am in the process of organizing my philatelic files for the Internet

Hello and welcome to our International Internet stamp club.

For those new to the club some information follows. . Remember this
program is by and for collectors and we welcome your comments and
suggestions etc. We want this to be an interesting, helpful and fun
club.

We welcome your favorite stamp stories, information on stamp collecting,
articles, humor etc. So if you have something you would like to
contribute then whip out that pen or keyboard and send it along. Also if
you know of any interesting stamp sites on the internet we would like
to hear about them.

MEMBERSHIP IS FREE TO ALL COLLECTORS: Dealers membership is just $10.00
a year. (We define a dealer as one being established as a businesses for
the sole purpose of selling stamps)

PURPOSE OF THE CLUB: is to promote the hobby, to provide useful and
helpful information and to provide members with a forum whereby they can
promote their individual collecting needs.

MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY: We will be compiling a membership directory. THIS
IS OPTIONAL you can choose to be included or choose not to be included
in it; so if you want in be sure to let us know. If you wish to
participate then be sure to send us some information about your
collecting interests so that we can include it.

OPTIONAL JOURNAL: Some have indicated their desire for a hardcopy stamp
Journal so we hope to have this available sometime in the new year; if
you are interested in this then please let us know. Because of the
expense involved in mailing, printing etc. we will have to charge a small
subscription fee of $2.00 per month sold in 6 month blocks ($12.00 for
half a year, $24.00 for a full year). There may be a higher rate due to
postal costs to countries outside of Canada or the United States and we
will advise you of that in the near future.

FREE ADVERTISING AND NOTICES: We welcome collector members buy sell and
trade ads and notices for FREE inclusion in our monthly E-mailing.
I reserve the right to refuse any advertising. Dealers please contact
us for current advertising rates.

CLUB RULES: FAIR DEALING IS PARAMOUNT: We are here to enjoy the hobby
and we do not want unhappy members because of unfair dealing. Unfair
dealing will not be tolerated. While I cannot guarantee in any way the
dealing of any other parties; I would appreciate hearing about any.
IMPORTANT: All collectors and dealers must submit their postal mailing
address and telephone number if any ( for our records) when submitting
an ad.

GENERAL TRADE AND SELL RULES: If you are trading stamps with another
collector, both parties must agree on the method of trade and the method
should be posted in the ad. Common trade formats are stamp for stamp
basis" Catalog for Catalog Value Basis or any other basis that both
parties agree to. In trades we will not accept notices that include
money plus trade unless the money is for postage of the traded items and
this must be stated in the trade notice if you are asking for a
reasonable amount to cover the postage.

SALES: Generally we ask that you offer material that you are willing to
take back and offer a refund on if the party purchasing your material is
not happy with the deal. You may mention a specific time period for
returns for refund in your notice. If you are not offering a return for
refund option then you MUST mention in your ad that all sales are FINAL
and no refund is offered. It is then up to the individual to decide if
they wish to buy or not. In the event that you offer something for sale
and it sells out you are required to make an immediate refund to any
individuals who sent you money for articles that you advertised.
