Does greater ink flow account for the difference in depth of ink color?
If so, how can this be adjusted? Any ideas why the small water droplets
are forming on the Pelikan nib at times?
Many thanks for your help. Best wishes to all for the coming holidays!

I can't answer your question but can merely confirm your experience. I've
had a Pelikan M800 for about 3 weeks, and it's the only pen I've ever had
that "sweats". I'm sure it must have something to do with body heat vs.
cold weather, but why only the Pelikan? I'm as anxious for an answer as
you!

...as I have posted many times any pen that hold ink directly in its
barrel (rather than in a sac, cartridge or converter) has no
insulation. This is one of the very first things I mention in my repair
book. The lack of insulation is, all other thing being equal, more
likely to cause problem. Frank
