Stitching on Magic

Ok folks...looking for some help here.....

I have 2 Magics - both have 4th gen hang tags, 1 has a 4th gen tush and the
other a 5th gen tush.

Now, I know that there is a hot pink stitched magic but is there really that
much difference in the colour of the stitching...I notice it when I compare
the stitching that the one with the 4th gen tush is slightly darker on the
wings than the other ...Is this likely to be a hot pink stitched one?

I also want to know about my magic. He has two colors of pink
stitching, one side of his wing is light and the other side of his
wing is dark. Anyone else have two-tone stitching on their magic's
wings?

Hi all,

Well, I already mailed Pauline on this... but it looks like there's LOTS of
Magics out there that need help!

Hot Pink Magic came with a 4th Generation tag attached to her WING.... Light
Pink Magic came with either a 3rd or 4th generation hang tag attached to her
EAR.

Ironically enough there seem to be more and more HOt Pink Magics surfacing,
matter of fact the ONLY light pink Magic I have ever seen was a 3rd
Generation hang tag with first generation tush tag...

The deciding factor is whether or not the WING stitching a) is darker than
the nostril stitches and b) if you can easily see it against the iridescent
material of the wings.... on the true Light Pink Magics it is very difficult
to see... the hot pink is obvious!

Since Magic is one of my favorites I've done a LOT of research on her and
have gotten corroboration on this information from several other dealers.

I read somewhere that there are several different colors of the pink
used for the stitching and that the hot pink is really HOT pink. My Mom
also has two Magics with sightly different colors of pink on them but I
don't believe either one of them are the hot pink.

The hot pink magic also comes with the tag attached to her ear! Mine is a
Canadian and the tag is attached to her ear.

What I have found to be the best comparison is to compare the wing thread to
the nose and see if it is darker.

I just checked out my Magic, who has the tag on the wing.. so therefore it
is the hot pink one.. I always thought it was the light pink just because it
isn't really fluorescent, which is what I think of when I hear Hot Pink..
it's just really dark pink...

So far, it has only been rumored that spangle will be changed and have a
white head - nothing at all to back up those claims. As far as which is
the best investment??? Hard to say when there is only one known version
available.

that's what I thought as although the stitching on one is darker I would not
consider it to be HOT :)
