One thing that puzzled me was the fact that at the end of
the address to get on to it,it said Pastel Peace.
Katharine
That's because their eBay ID name is pastelpeace.

(when emailing me, please remove "puter" from my email address)
I wasn't going on the "pastel" reference in the description. To
me the coloring of Garcia, in certain places, looked light, like the newer
pastel version of Peace. Ryan's Garcia looks like the older version
of Peace, with bolder colors.

I looked at all the Garcias shown at this seller's link and they are
"normal" looking Garcias (compared to all the other pictures of Garcia
I've seen). The only reference I saw to "pastel" was the seller's Ebay
name...... The word "pastel" was not used in any of the item
descriptions.

I don't know how to explain it, but I can "see" it somehow. I know that
doesn't make ANY sense to you, but maybe it'll help if I also say I am
driven nuts when a picture isn't straight on the wall? I was in QC
inspection for years, so maybe I've just developed some kind of "knack"
for telling one thing from another that way. Who knows?

Thanks.
Happy Easter.
Katharine
I'm glad you finally got one! How'd you come to get him? Was he
outrageously priced? C'mon, share your "good Peace day" with the rest
of us! <g>
And I finally remembered today where I got Pastel Peace #3 -- it was
from Paula! LOL I found an old Email while cleaning out my mailbox.

There's really no rhyme or reason to it all. The true "bright Neon"
ones from that same time period aren't really all THAT common, either,
but you don't see anyone making a big to-do about them. Not as compared
to "#102 summer whitewashed pastels", anyway.
Oh, while I'm thinking of it...have the girls made you a LIME PEACE yet?

Isn't it funny how once you really SEE one, you just "know" it's a
pastel? <g> oooooh yes
I'm glad you finally got one! How'd you come to get him? Was he
outrageously priced? C'mon, share your "good Peace day" with the rest
of us! <g>got him from a dealer on the web out east, gorgeous pinks and blues, as far as cost, I believe it was a fair deal at the time, and looking at ebay lately it was a steal, except for the one I won today for under $25.00 <BG> sorry, just had to brag a little. And this weekend I picked up 2 regular peace bears, one was mainly green <ssssh> you know who's fave green <BG> and the other was mainly red on the body. I guess after all this time collecting for Ryan, that I am now hooked on those Peace bears, LOL Bonnie
And I finally remembered today where I got Pastel Peace #3 -- it was
