The so-called Godfather pull is what some use with a lever machine.
Something to do with the Francis Coppola movies, though I wouldn't

This person (flasherly)has been posting for some years. His syntax
is a bit mixed, but after a while it (this scares me) is readable and
makss sense. Keep reading the posts for a while and you will see what
I mean.

I never measure coffee grounds when I make coffee. I just put in what
seems right. One time I made coffee in the office and some guy said
it seemed like sludge but everyone else said it was okay.
How many teaspoons (or whatever you use) do you use per cup of water?

The solenoid coil has a voltage rating , so you would need a 240V part for
a UK machine. 26 UKP sounds reasonable - just bite the bullet and fix your
machine.
