Hi,

I am wanting to paint my boats aluminum Pontoons white.

I do leave my boat in the water, so will not be anti fouling.

any advise appreciated.

I have 2800 psi airless sprayer, so would prefer paints that I can spray.

The best advice I can give is to do the following:
1) Clean the aluminum with a aluminum brite cleaner or a solution of 10%
hydrofluoric acid to remove all of the aluminum oxidation.
2) Apply a coat of "wash primer" or zinc chromate primer.
3) Apply a coat of epoxy primer.
4) Apply a polyurethane top coat or color coat.
