last 3 weeks.... all on hard core technical issues except maybe one. I get
lots of favorable comment. Would you care to comment on the technical
points one by one? Or was your general trash job and association with
Richard the Bogus Platek all I get?

I suggest that helping the person get able in life first, is the
correct approach. I have done that for at least a dozen people in my
life, perhaps more.
Including but not limited to:
Several mexican mafia gang members in LA, one is a mechanical engineer
now, two others got into the air conditioning business.
A drunk. I had to fire him, before we parted I took him to lunch and
we went over the points addressed here.
10 years ago as I was passing though LA on business I stopped by an
engineering book store and outside the store was a guy sitting a brand
new white service truck.. he waved me over and guess what. It was
this guy!
He owned the business! He was looking sharp! He said 'thank you'.
Not bad for an SP like me hu?
Ive helped many people this way over the years.
For the unable Scientology acts as a way to avoid the REAL issues in
his ACTUAL day to day life... the person tends to go on dub-in down
the track, and end up in a basket.... thinking that he's Napoleon, God
or whatever and will any day now conquer the world again.
( that doesnt work...... too many Napoleons already running loose.)
Then LRH tells the person they can become an auditor if they can make
fog on a mirror, and the guy knows he can at least do that, so we end
up with some pretty foggy auditors who were unable to survive well
themselves, or in staff or freezone rolls, and that just doesn't fly
much past the lowest of lowest levels.
Does it.
From there we get a bunch of 'OT's that had skipped the first
gradient of being able and functional and doing well in life. They
tried to solve their life with scientology, and thus avoided Life.
Thats a key issue. You may wish to read the above paragraph again.
The ruin is seen broadly, pounding on ACW's door, in a basket, as he
has posted earlier this week.
FIRST GRADIENT ADVICE, BECOMING VIABLE
What I recommend for people in that condition, OT or not,
scientologist or not follows: I wish that you do well and prosper
greatly.
Summary:
1. Use your energy to establish a way to make an independent income
that will GROW. That means a business. That means a business in
some very much needed and *established* area. AND very very
importantly a business that is low lech enough that you can hire
others to do it... and that its not a challenge for you to do.
How to screw up the plan: Decide that you are too good to do a low
gradient business and will instead change the world by developing a
new way to fly by flapping your arms, or will reinvent the automobile
and compete with general motors.
That is NOT the sure fire way to bail your ass out of trouble. Get
out of trouble first...THEN try those things if you want.
Trying those things first is a way of avoiding the real issue in life,
such as making enough to buy gas for the car and afford food.
2. Understand that you will have to promote your ass off for at
least 6 months, 2 or 3 hours a day, in order to get the business past
hard core starvation levels.
(I do not recommend yellow page advertising, but fax advertising
works, cold calling works if its to big accounts not small accounts.
One must advertise in great excess)
Understand that there is no reason 'yer case' should keep you from
working a paint brush, scoop shovel or hammer or skill saw. Billions
of people throughout history have managed quite well, case in tact,
often in full blown restimulation. Look at Adolph for example.
You can do it too.
3. Understand that in a year you will have a marginally viable but
very unpleasant business...you will be coping with no staff to help,
overloaded in paperwork, and bids etc. and........... your cash flow
will suck big time. Hard core grief and agony on thee.
But don't quit and get a job.......the most common error, its often
fatal to ones freedom and peace of mind, one can get stuck in a job..
If you do find you have to take a job to survive, keep promoting your
business in the background, or at least gear up batches of promo to
get out later,
buy tools and equipment,
save up some reserve money,
and launch the promo in massive batchs a month before you quit, and do
cold calls on weekends while you are still working, then schedule the
work for after you quit your job.
How to get paid:
charge generally 3x your job rate of pay, plus profits on parts to
start, have a detailed written contract, list what is NOT included,
make that clear, get parts paid for on delivery, collect balance on
completion for smaller jobs,
Double your money on materials on average.
This means that as soon as you get up to 10 hours a weeks work, you
are even with your job income... this is not an overly tough goal to
reach. 90% of people can reach that goal in a year or less.
4. if you got into a business that you can easily expand with staff
then that stress and strain too shall pass...so hang in there, don't
work TOO hard, go out to dinner and a movie once in a while.... spend
your money on tools and equipment that will make the work faster and
easier and more profitable.
5. Pick a business where you can easily see $300 or more per day
profit. That means $600 a day is attainable, and if you apply
efficiency measures, and a helper you can do $1,000 a day very very
easily.
thats a quarter million dollars a year folks, within 2 years of
starting. If you want to work hard. I work one day a week. But
its a hard day :) At LEAST 6 hours.
6. Understand that most PR plans and tactics you try WILL FAIL....the
PLAN it will land on its ass. That is because one is on new
ground, either at the start or at the later development and advance
stages... you have no insight at this level so make all the mistakes
known to man generally. I certainly tend to.
Failure is fine. embrace it. Love it. Go with it, Thank God for
the opportunity. then figure out why it failed, what insight you
missed on, and what would work better, put it all on paper, then make
that the new plan.
Soon, trust me, you will have a greased up program making seriously
excellent money, no boss, and on your own sweet time.
THEN one addresses his two bit case issues.
For that I recommend. UDP first, Idenics ( 1800 idenics), and my
drills and reading references I give, including LRH references....in
any order, anyway that grabs your fancy.
Its all free and easy except Idenics, and that will cost you couple
of days pay.
Affordable you see. One gets viable first, then able, THEN does mind
warp designed to make the able more able.
And then one goes to see Heidrun, Enid, ACW, or whomever. One gets
viable FIRST, gets over the Life PTP, then does enhancements.
One does not audit over the top of a PTP....and if one is starving,
handling the rudiment is really just faking now isnt it...one still
HAS the PTP actually. Distracting a person from his PTP so you can
do session is running session over the top of a mashed down PTP.
Backwards does not work, its a non confront.... if you try scientology
with a non confront on life, you'll run dub in and call it the real
scene.....and end up in very bad shape, pounding on ACW's door,
begging for a solution with a junk car, and no money.
Here is the story of the self made millionaire again cloned from an
earlier post.
This is about a guy in his 30's at the time,
one day he was recounting to me the story of how he was in a big
hurry to get to downtown LA.
.... and there was not enough time, traffic was bad...and he really
really had to get there.... then all of a sudden he found himself in
LA! Downtown! RIght where he had to be! (he was dead sure of
this)
He no idea what had happened, except it "must have been that I
teleported both myself and my car!" ( a world class heap.)
This man has since gone on in life to do very very well.
He too used to work for me in LA, it turned out he was not
technically inclined so I loaned him a truck and tools while he got
started on another business, one of his own more suitable to his
nature,
he is a very personable person, I knew he would do well.
I told him that in 10 years his biggest problem would be where to
stash all the money.
Well thats been his problem for quite a while now, he was doing half
a million a year 5 years after he took my advice, and was investing
the loot even back then,
Id say today he must be worth at least 5 or 10 million dollars at the
least. His business was along the lines mentioned above, low tech,
but with very wide demand.
in1978, he had problems buying gas, and thought that he had been
fired out of a volcano by some idiot who produced bad movies.
that boy was a MESS.
He is still in scientology, probably finished with the class 8 course
by now, and my guess probably OT-8 as well. Last time I called him
to see how it was going, .......a year or so ago, he didn't return my
call.
But thats OK its all part of the program.
For many in his situation, the next step will be UDP. for him though
it won't, he was already a natural UDP completion as many people are.
So he of course flew like an eagle.
