Problems Release

This has to do with problems and the issue of help. My problems can
be minimized and solved to the degree that I recognize the role I
play in them, from physical movement and speech, to agreements and
attitudes. Then if I don't like or no longer agree with what I've
caused I can stop that and start something else.

There's also something about being so afraid of causing problems to
others that one doesn't let oneself be at cause. Then you set in
motion a dwindling spiral, constantly reacting instead of acting.
If you look back at problems you've been to others, they've probably
resulted from your being the effect of a cause. Lots of times I've
caused problems and confusions because I was afraid I'd offend
someone by telling them what I felt was the truth. I refused to be
at cause; refused to grant myself beingness.

A short note on others having problems with others: Someone who has
to fix others' problems for them, a hero constantly rescuing people,
may not be granting them beingness or acknowledging their ability to
be at cause-the old saying about teaching someone to fish rather
than doling out fish applies here. The best you can do for others
is to allow them to be at cause. This may sound oversimplified but
I don't want to write a whole book here. Like some folks say, if I
have a problem, I should check myself!

Best regards,
T. Sullivan

For those who are quite new to the subjects of
Dianetics and Scientology, we have a forum where
your questions can be answered, and their is a
minimum of the quite extensive specialised terminology    of these
subjects. The forum website also has a couple
 of dictionaries of scientology terms.

A lot of people equate problems with havingness.

Its a bad idea to solve people's problems for them. It depletes their
havingness.
