I really didn't know Eldon very well but I doubt that he would want
ACA to die with him. On second thought maybe he would.
I certainly don't want to take up where he left off. My discontent
with the Avatar Course and Harry is quite different so I doubt that
any thing I may post, any statements I may make, may or may not be
supportive of his agenda.
The other day I was watching the promo for this years Wizard's
course. Of course the video has clips from the previous years
course. Harry looks tired, Avra the same, but some of the other
trainers have not aged well. The only one who seems happier is
Micken. Maybe after all these years she has finally "got it"?
Anyways, what I wanted to comment on was the fact when one just
listens to what Harry is saying with an objective mind, it's very easy
to ascertain what he is selling.
It's not really enlightenment per se, but "specialness". Funny, if
one had transcended their "ego", then his pitch to become a bodhisttva
by doing the Wizards course would hold no appeal.
But isn't it this "specialness" that appeals to many of us? Even the
label of Avatar for years made me feel like I was one of the elite.
This might just be the draw, and why many people get stuck doing
course after course. It's not so much for betterment, but for that
specialness one gets by thinking they have, or know something others
don't.
And Harry sells it oh so well.
Of course the other reason, and it's so apparent when you listen to
the participants, is the trance state high. Yes, some even have the
glossy eye look one gets from drugs. I bet most don't realize that
Harry long ago made claims to developing Avatar so people wouldn't
have to pollute their bodies with drugs.
Tonite I'm feeling sorry for those who have gone into debt in order to
do the Wizards course. I'm feeling sorry for those who are neglecting
their families and loved ones to do the course. I'm feeling sorry for
those who are so lonely that they think they have found a network of
friends. I'm feeling sorry for those who think doing the course will
help them realize their dreams or make this a better world.
