That might be as fitting a memorial as one could hope for Eldon, I
suppose.
It's kind of sad that no one knows if Eldon is really dead, or rather
that those who might know would feel it's a defeat to admit it. There's
apparently no one close to him to step forward to say a few kind words.

yes we are constantly bombarded with "source course attendance grows
in leaps and bounds" despite Eldon's death
of course as someone who only thinks positively - you could never
associate the idea of Eldon dead with "defeat"
