Hey Hari,

Scientology is shrinking drastically as people become disillusioned
and drift away. This down under gossip rag is now reporting that Katie
Holmes has left! As posted by Martin, a Kiwi Kritic:

Katie Holmes has reportedly dropped a bombshell on her husband Tom
Cruise by announcing her intention to quit Scientology.

Buoyed by her new-found independence in New York, Katie finally took
the plunge and told Tom of her plans to turn her back on the religion
after beginning to question some of its rules and practices.

Now friends say that the star couple's marriage may be facing a crisis
as strict Scientologist Tom contemplates having to tone down the rules
he has reportedly laid down to raise daughter Suri, 2.

"Katie got bold and told Tom that she's ready to leave the religion,"
claims a friend. "Tom is worried and now their marriage may have to
change in a lot of ways."

According to some former Scientology members, anyone who leaves the
church must be disconnected from current members, including their
spouses and children…

Not the best source of reliable data but yet another nail in that
coffin.

However if it is true - .........!

So Hari, here's the obvious deal. You need to start promoting your
cult to former Scientologists as you did back in 1986-7. Drag out that
old line, "AVATAR DELIVERS THE ENTIRE SCIENTOLOGY BRIDGE, THE BUDDHIC
PATH AND BEYOND!"

You might even want to borrow this old saw: "The end of endless
rundowns."

Maybe it's time to stick up a special website targeted at former
Scientologists. You could announce it on alt.clearing.technology and
various Freezone sites.

Hell, the whole world knows about your long-time Scientology
background by now -- even Eastern European newspaper reporters. So you
might as well try to take advantage of it as best you can.
