Cult finds 'eternal youth' formula

The controversial cult which claims to have cloned five babies says it
has discovered a way of reversing the ageing process.
The Raelian sect believes it can use stem cells to turn back the clock
on any part of the body.
It says it has already carried out experiments which involve
shortening ageing human DNA, which stretches over time.
The sect's claims are sure to reignite the controversy surrounding
human cloning and the use of stem cells, which are obtained from
foetuses.
Experts have admitted the techniques used are "good science" and that
reversing ageing is "theoretically possible". However, they criticise
the Raelians for refusing to reveal their methods and proof of their
claims.
Cult chief Dr Brigitte Boisselier, 47, is set to reveal the details of
the work at a conference in London next week. However, organisers, who
say the cult used a false name to book their facilities, have now
cancelled it.
"As far as I am concerned, this is just not science until they prove
it," said Professor Christopher Higgins, director of the Medical
Research Council's Clinical Sciences Centre at Hammersmith Hospital.
In an exclusive interview with the Evening Standard, Dr Boisselier
said the cult had set up a new company, Stemaid, which is using stem
cells. At least two patients are being treated; one has a brain tumour
and the other is paralysed after a spinal cord injury.
"We have found a way to cure so many diseases and a way to look like
you are 17 years old," she said. "There will be six to nine months
demonstrating and then we will be showing everything."
She says she is ready to have the treatment herself because "while my
mind is mature, I don't like all my wrinkles".
Unlike the cloning project, which is still shrouded in mystery, Dr
Boisselier says details of the stem cell research will be made public,
starting with a major press conference in Switzerland next month.
Experts are divided over the claims. Several refused to speak to the
Evening Standard, claiming the cult was "absurd".
However, Anne Bishop, a stem cell expert at Imperial College, London,
believes there may be some basis to the science.
She said: "What they are talking about doing is theoretically
possible, although it has nothing to do with DNA. There are several
research groups around the world looking at this. It does, in effect,
allow you to turn back the effects of ageing on any cell."
Dr Boisselier says the real significance of her work is the promise of
eternal youth. Speaking in Montreal where the cult is based, she said:
"A generation is coming that will never die. People can expect to
stretch their lives for 50 or 70 years."
She says details will be made public at a medical conference in
Switzerland next month. Even if successful, the procedure is highly
controversial because the stem cells used are taken from cloned
embryos created from the patients themselves.
Clonaid's past claims have been treated with scepticism, not least
because of its links with the Raelians, founded by a former French
racing driver who claims he is in contact with aliens who created
humanity from clones of themselves. Clonaid claimed last year that a
cloned baby girl named Eve had been born on 26 December. Dr Boisselier
promised that full scientific proof would be offered, but later
claimed the parents backed away through fear of exposure in the media.
Today she revealed the existence of a "second generation" of clones
whose mothers are now in the final stages of pregnancy.

Satan's past, present and future in a nut shell a once magnificent
guardian cherub in Eden thrown from the mount of God because he became
full of himself and corrupted his wisdom, himself and those that
followed him.
ISAIAH 14:12-15 How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son

low the nations! You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven; I

Plain and simply Satan wants the same worship that is due to God only.
God gives to each of us his gifts which make us unique but madness
comes when we think that the gifts that come from God come from
ourselves and therefore we should be worshipped as gods. When God's
gifts to an individual becomes corrupted then the power of God to work
through that individual takes a nose dive and all that's finally left
is the sickness.

Satan and his kingdom are thrown out of heaven to earth and have no
place in heaven anymore. That ancient serpent leads the whole world
astray, away from God therefore into his kingdom.

We know that Satan was a guardian cherub in Eden and that he is also
known as a serpent so who else could it be that led Eve astray to eat
the fruit that Adam ate also which open the eyes of mankind to the
knowledge of how to rebel against God. The price of sin is death and
ever since mankind gained the knowledge of evil and used it his
physical body has died. How perfect man once was only to throw it all
away by not listening to God and following the advice of the devil.
GENESIS 6:1-6 When men began to increase in number on the earth and
daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of
men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. Then the
LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is
mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years." The Nephilim
were on the earth in those days -and also afterward-when the sons of
God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were
the heroes of old, men of renown. The LORD saw how great man's
wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the
thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. The LORD was grieved
that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain.

Satan and his angels on earth now had a hold on mankind because of
this evil and started to have children with the daughters of men
creating these wicked men of renown. We know that only Noah and his
family were saved out of the floods so the Nephilim(the cross between
angels and mankind) must of all been wiped out. I put it to you that
these Nephilim are what we call the "Neanderthals" of today for these
reasons and they are:
1) That both man and nephilim co-existed at the same time but man now
exist alone, God created man, man didn't evolve from this or any other
missing link.
2) The neanderthals had a bigger brain cavity in their skulls than man
but scientist have concluded that they must of been less intelligent
because they were wiped out and man was not, but this was only due to
God perserving mankind through Noah and his family.
3) The neanderthals bone density is greater than man's and some
scientists have concluded that they were the far stronger of the two
which would make them these hero's of old, men of renown(due to
strength as well as intelligence?). Other bible translations call them
giants and warriors of renown.
Legends are still with us about people such as Hercules who had a
god(dark angel?) called Zeus as a father and was born of a earthly
mother. Zeus the king of the gods and the supreme ruler of men has a
brother called Hades who rules the underworld where all men's spirits
went after they died. Satan is the king of the dark angels and the
ruler of men because of man's sinful nature and Hades is Satan's
kingdom which makes you wonder if Zeus is just another name for Satan.
2 PETER 2:4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent
them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for
judgment;
JUDE 1:6-7 And the angels who did not keep their positions of
authority but abandoned their own home-these he has kept in darkness,
bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. In a
similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave
themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an
example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

The whole earth was polluted with wickedness so God threw the dark
angels that created these nephlims into hell/Hades and flooded the
earth killing every living thing except those saved by Noah's ark.
Hades is one of the fallen angels but it is also a place of
confinement for those that reject God, both man that has died and
these dark angels. Jesus has shown others what Hades is and they
described it as a growing entity in the shape of a body. Hades is
filling up with the dammed like a balloon filling up with air. A
direct opposite of the body of Christ filling up with the saved and
would explain how Satan got his kingdom as God didn't make it for him.
This evil place exist in this fallen angel "Hades".
1 PETER 5:8-9 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil
prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your
brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of
sufferings.

All the fallen angels that created these Nephlim were confined to
Hades by God. The other fallen angels including Satan are still free
till Judgement day.

Even though Satan is free for now he is limited to the amount evil he
can do by God, especially to those that worship God.
Psalm 78:
49-50
He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and
indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them. He made a
way to his anger; he spared not their soul from death, but gave their
life over to the pestilence; The King James Version, (Cambridge:
Cambridge) 1769.

Even evil angels serve a purpose for now in God's plan, in that, if
man chooses the path of evil and turns his back on God, God may lift
his protection off and allow the evil angels to bring sickness, misery
and death to him. Make no mistake, if God did not protect mankind from
the evil angels then they would happily destroy all mankind as soon as
possible. Notice in the above verse that God had to first make a way
for his anger i.e had to allow the evil angels into action.
MATTHEW 8:16 When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were
brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed
all the sick.
LUKE 8:30-31 Jesus asked him, "What is your name?" "Legion," he
replied, because many demons had gone into him. And they begged him
repeatedly not to order them to go into the Abyss.

The demons can only be the evil spirits left over from the union of
the evil angels with women. Although the fallen angel were confined to
Hell by God these evil spirits were not. These spirits crave to
possess a body once again and when they do they can display superhuman
strength e.g. by snapping chains(Mark5:4) or the ability to know
things that human don't know unless informed by these demons
(Acts16:16).
One verse from Esdras(one of the books not included into the bible for
one reason or another) and two translations of Nostradamus's
predictions are very interesting concerning these evil spirits and
their desire for possessing bodies once again which I feel are
actually dealing with human clones in our present time and these
predictions are as follows:

Look at what Esdra is predicting for the end times and that is
'menstruous women(fertile women) shall bring forth monsters' and
Nostradamus is predicting, in his first one he says that 'the gods
will arrive in the guise of humans' and what is a human clone but a
soulless human body ready for the gods(the evil spirits) to occupy. If
you lost a part of your body would you expect it to start moving about
on its own accord? Of course not, so what is a human clone but a lump
of re-created flesh in the form of somebody's human body and if it
moves, then animated by evil spirits. The second quatrain says, "The
Androgyny procreation and a great people 're-created'" and the Bible
mentions these great people that were the children of the fallen
angels and women before they were all wiped out by the floods in
Noah's time.
To ask the question, "How long before human clones will be produced?"
is to be a little naive since the real questions that should be asked
is, "How old are they now and how many of them have been created?".
Now man, under the influence of these evil spirits, are producing
clone bodies for these evil spirits(demons) to occupy. These demons
which are the offspring of the fallen angels may not of had bodies
completely to themselves since before the flood but they have now or
will have. The presence of these demons has been seen throughout
mankind's history especially by those that willing allow them into
their bodies.
A few prime examples would be in voodoo where the person says that a
spirit takes over there bodies, mediums that talk to the dead(demons
in reality), demon possessed people and people with familiar spirits.
Some not so obvious examples are when people are put under hypnosis
and can be made to act out of character and while under hypnosis have
so called memories of past lives while the demon is in control of that
person's body also another not so obvious example is of people being
abducted by aliens(most have their souls tormented by demons for a
while).
Note that demons have been around for at least 3000 years(before the
great flood of Noah's day) and have inhabited countless human lives
after the floods because they no longer have bodies of their own. This
explains all these past lives people believe to be their own which in
reality is the life history of these demons that inhabit them.
The intelligence level of these demon clones far outstrips mans and if
your final destination is Hell then maybe you won't have too much to
worry about for awhile. The last part of the second quatrain says that
late and soon comes the awaited help which is probably God(Jesus) who
takes out his people during the tribulation then at the predetermined
end of the tribulation puts an end to the madness.
MATTHEW 12:25-26 But he, knowing their thoughts, said to them, Every
kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every
city or house divided against itself will not subsist. And if Satan
casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then shall his
kingdom subsist?

Jesus was accused of being a part of the kingdom of Satan because of
his power to throw these evil spirits out of the people that were
possessed which was not the case, his power came from God.
LUKE 16:22-23 "The time came when the beggar died and the angels
carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried.
In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far
away, with Lazarus by his side.

Before Jesus died for the sins of man, man's spirit was carried into
Hades, either carried to Abraham's side or into torment in hell.
JOHN 12:32 But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all
men to myself."
EPHESIANS 4:8-10 This is why it says:"When he ascended on high, he led
captives in his train and gave gifts to men." (What does "he ascended"
mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? He
who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the
heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)
1 PETER 3:18-2O For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous
for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the
body but made alive by the Spirit, through whom also he went and
preached to the spirits in prison who disobeyed long ago when God
waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built.
REVELATION 1:17-18
When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his
right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the
Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever
and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.
Humm!!
When Jesus died for our sins his spirit went to Hades and took out all
the spirits that are a part of his body as the penalty for the sin of
man had been paid in full. Satan no longer could hold God's people who
make up the body of Jesus who were there at Abraham's side. When Jesus
rose from Hades with the spirits of God's people he held the keys of
death and Hades in other word he had the power over both the physical
body of man asleep in death and the spirit of man which is immortal.
Those spirits which are Jesus' are held by Jesus and those that are
not are left in Hades. Jesus' physical body was the first to be
reunited with his Spirit and at the resurrection, everyone else's will
be also.
JOHN 15:9-10
"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my
love. If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I
have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love.
ROMANS 2:13
For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's
sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared
righteous.

Satan knows more about God then most but has no love for God. Give God
your best and follow his commands to the best of your ability. Jesus
died on the cross for your sins so love Jesus by following God's
commandments that will bring out your best for God.
2 THESSALONIANS 2:9-10
The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of
Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and
wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are
perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so
be saved.

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that
they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is
the image of God.

By rejecting Jesus and God's commandments then truth is destroyed and
becomes meaningless so evil can flourish and drag those that reject
the truth into Satan's kingdom. Those that play with the occult think
that Satan will welcome them with loving arms because he humors them
for now to get them into his kingdom but when he does have their
spirit after death then the evil joke is over. He hates all mankind
because we're in the image of God, and he hates God. You'll be treated
by a hateful being till judgment day when hell and everything in it
will be thrown into the lake of fire which is your spiritual death
from God. As far as aliens go it's probably just Satan and the evil
spirits pulling your leg and playing the part so that you stop
believing in God and start listening to those that are truly alien to
God. Demons are a finite quality due to God binding the dark angels
that were creating them but even so the pollution they create is truly
Satanic in nature.

"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are
cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of
fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in
the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Jesus and his body of believers will finally be clean when Satan and
his kingdom (hell/Hades) are destroyed by being thrown into the
eternal fire which tries to purify for eternity that which will not be
purified and wants to hold onto evil. Do not embrace evil by saying an
evil thing is good even if your struggling with it your whole lifetime
otherwise it will become a part of your nature.

How do people become "possessed"? According to a priest who exorcised
demons for 26 years and jotted down notes for a rare little chronicle,
there are three main ways that an evil spirit takes over those who are
severely afflicted. "Some of these had caused their own unfortunate
condition (occultic practises)," he wrote. "Others came under the
influence of Satan through no fault of their own, but because of
curses pronounced against them. Still others of the possessed were, I
found, specially select souls whom God had called to, and prepared
for, a high state of perfection."
The exorcist, who lived in Germany during the late 19th and early 20th
centuries -- and whose identity was closely guarded by the rector of
Bamberg Cathedral -- noted that a possessed person "is no longer
himself," loses the "voluntariness to act freely," and speaks
according to the whims of the spirit possessing him. "For example,
should the possessed like to say a prayer, the devil immediately
causes him to utter blasphemies instead."
The priest relates as an example a possessed woman who came to see him
and wanted to speak becomingly of the priest but instead insulted and
reprimanded him -- while continuing to carry on in an otherwise normal
manner! Usually, he said, such manifestations of the demonic only
reveal themselves during a formal exorcism.
A sure sign of possession -- as opposed to lesser degrees of demonic
assault, and as we would expect -- is when a person begins to act
exactly opposite of the way that person usually acts.
In the confessional, noted the priest, he witnessed the reaction of
demons to prayers that were said when an afflicted woman did not know
what he was doing -- proving the supernatural nature of the encounter.
"After giving her absolution in Confession I said a few words in Latin
against the demon," he wrote. "Suddenly the girl became unconscious
and the demon betrayed himself. Upon my request he answered that there
were three demons in her: Bel, Beelzebub, and Cherberus."
There is the aversion to prayer. There is the aversion to holy things.
The sight of a devout picture annoys the demon, as we all know. It is
when the exorcist forces the possessed to do what he or she now hates
to do that the demon is tortured and betrays itself. "While talking
with a possessed person I purposely turned the conversation to matters
of no consequence," he said. "The possessed remained quiet. Then I
purposely spoke about God and the soul. The demon made himself known
at once."
During a possession, the soul of the possessed retreats and the evil
spirits takes control of bodily senses and organs. "You can shout into
the ears of the possessed, you can open his eyes by force and place an
article before him to see, you can pinch him, prick him with needles,
but the possessed is not conscious of anything you do," he related.
The demon, on the other hand, responds with great force --
contortions, screams, the literal gnashing of teeth -- to the Name of
Jesus.
Whenever a demon fails to give its name, the exorcist can force it out
of him. Such spirits enjoy taking the names of those who have
successfully injured the Church. This is why we often hear them
identify themselves as Hitler or Judas or Lucifer. "There is a demon
by the name of Judas, a demon by the name of Elizabeth of England, a
demon by the name of Voltaire," the exorcist said in the pamphlet,
which was approved by Rome's Holy Office. "Very likely they are the
demons who succeeded in harming the Church through these historical
characters."
There were times the spirits proved their supernatural nature by
correctly telling the priest something that was occurring miles away.
When angels were invoked, he says demons acted as if their hands were
bound -- in a fit of acute consternation. The German priest, in a work
edited by rector Theodore Geiger of Bamberg, said he saw proof that
many psychiatric illnesses are actually spiritual cases. "I have
applied the rite of exorcism to six persons whom doctors had declared
hysterical and of the neurotic type," he asserted. "Medical science
did not bring about a cure. Doctors had abandoned the cases as
hopeless. The exorcism, however, delivered them from demons, and with
all the demons all sickly appearances disappeared."
One demon named "Luxuria" imitated femininity and boasted that it has
many servants posing as the Blessed Mother. Another that called itself
"Caesar" was leading the demonic forces to stir up government against
the Church. Among his forces were the secret societies. "They admit,"
he noted of the evil spirits, "that they have won over a large number
of souls whom they keep as their slaves and whom they regard as their
permanent possessions."
The forces of hell tries to corrupt priests, he warned. Such is often
orchestrated by the spirit parading about as "Judas." But such spirits
also know that they will never prevail. They are simply trying to
persecute the Church as much as possible until their time is up.
Upon deliverance the worst imaginable darkness turns into the
greatest brightness. In some cases, the possessed person is actually
granted visions. Describing one case, the exorcist noted that "on
April 29, 1878, an unexpected change took place in the presence of the
witnesses. At precisely the moment when the demons drew back, the face
of the possessed, fiercely distorted up to that time, suddenly assumed
a radiant appearance of peace and happiness."

Dan Brown's thriller, The Da Vinci Code, is back at the top spot on
The New York Times best seller list, indicating that the combination
of a suspense novel and theological heresy makes for potent marketing
in post-Christian America.
Sales of The Da Vinci Code were certainly helped along by November 3
ABC news special "Jesus, Mary, and Da Vinci," hosted by reporter
Elizabeth Vargas. The ABC special was an example of television at its
worst--combining weak research with manipulative overtones and
sensationalistic claims.
As the one hour "Prime Time Monday" program began, reporter Elizabeth
Vargas related a legend claiming that in the first century, after the
death of Jesus, refugees from the holy land landed on the coast of
France. According to the legend, this group included some of the
closest followers of Jesus, including Lazarus and Mary Magdalene.
Vargas continued: "But what if we told you there was more to the
story? What if we told you that some people think that Mary Magdalene
was not a repentant prostitute but instead Jesus' wife? That she bore
his child? That the truth was suppressed by the church but handed
down by a secret society whose most famous member was Leonardo Da
Vinci? And that Leonardo encoded the truth in some of his most famous
paintings?"
Of course, with the "what if we told you" formula, the reporter was
able to present this "legend" for consideration, while taking no
responsibility for its truthfulness. And who would corroborate this
story? None other than Dan Brown, author of The Da Vinci Code, who
was interviewed for the "Prime Time Monday" broadcast as if he were a
historian, rather than a suspense novelist. In a serious tone of
voice, Brown explained that he began his research as a skeptic. "I
really thought I would disprove a lot of this theory about Mary
Magdalene and holy blood and all of that," he explained,
"nevertheless, I became a believer." Are we supposed to be impressed?
The network advertised the "Prime Time Monday" broadcast by raising
the question: "Was Jesus married?" With this sensationalistic tease,
Vargas and her host of guests debated whether the church had been
involved in a vast conspiracy to deny what Brown and others had
supposedly recently discovered--that Mary Magdalene was not a
repentant prostitute, but Jesus' wife.
This was a question sure to inflame the faithful and to create a
sizable television audience. Nevertheless, the program was
instructive, in that it puts a host of liberal theologians and
post-Christian authors on the record for all to see.
Dan Brown's research, if you can call it that, was not very serious.
As a novelist, he knows a good story when he sees one, and one may
strongly suspect that he is more surprised than anyone else to know
that many persons, evidently including some at ABC News, have taken
him seriously.
There can be no serious question about the marital status of Jesus.
The canonical gospels, (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) preclude any
option of understanding Jesus as married. He operates as an unmarried
teacher with a band of devoted disciples. He is not the head of a
household, but builds a household of faith--the church. At the
crucifixion, he assigns John responsibility for caring for Mary, his
mother. There is no mention of any wife, certainly no mention of
children.
This is no problem for Dan Brown and others who promote their invented
Christology. According to Brown and author Margaret Starbird, Jesus
not only married Mary Magdalene, but also fathered a child who became
the head of the Merovingian royal dynasty.
So, how can Brown and others promote this theory? Simply by asserting
that the marital status of Jesus was hidden by Christian leaders by
means of a vast conspiracy. This conspiracy, we are told, explains
the absence of any mention of Jesus' marriage in the New Testament and
the church's denial of any such suggestion throughout its history.
What evidence would Brown and Starbird produce in order to buttress
their case?
Starbird points to Jesus' instruction to Mary Magdalene after his
resurrection, as recorded in John's gospel. When Jesus tells Mary not
to touch Him, Starbird claims that this actually means, "do not cling
to me," which is further asserted to mean that they were married. As
Vargas explains by means of a question: "and that kind of embrace
would have been unusual if it were not between a man and a woman,
husband and wife?"
Darrell Bock, professor of New Testament at Dallas Theological
Seminary, countered Starbird's assertion. "Its just her single act of
devotion," Bock explained, "given to him without concern about what
people are thinking about what she's doing." Vargas then conceded
that the majority of biblical scholars consulted for the program
agreed with Professor Bock's assessment. Nevertheless, don't count
that as a complete loss, for she did find one biblical scholar who
thought that the scene in the garden might "point to an intimate
relationship between Mary Magdalene and Jesus."
Father Richard McBrien of the University of Notre Dame quickly
confirmed that if Jesus had married, it would have been to Mary
Magdalene. "If he was married, it was obviously...oh, yeah, it was
obviously Mary Magdalene." Father McBrien evidently confuses romance
novels with the New Testament.
One of the central arguments found in The Da Vinci Code is that
certain leading figures in history have always known the truth. The
"Priory of Sion," asserted to be a cabal of the illuminated ones, is
central to Brown's plot. The Priory is claimed to involve a host of
luminaries from European history including, of course, Leonardo Da
Vinci. According to Brown's thesis, Da Vinci hid hints of Jesus'
marriage in works of art such as his famous masterpiece, "The Last
Supper." Brown argues that one of the figures in the fresco standing
next to Jesus isn't a man at all, but Mary Magdalene.
Jack Wasserman of Temple University isn't buying that argument. A
prominent art historian, Wasserman simply countered that the figure
doesn't even look like a woman, once we understand the artistic style
of the era.
As a matter of fact, art historians have poked holes in most of Dan
Brown's interpretations found in The Da Vinci Code. Of course, if you
are promoting a conspiracy theory, you just make this part of the
conspiracy. When Elizabeth Vargas asked Dan Brown why so many art
historians dismiss his theories "as absolutely bizarre and crazy,"
Brown explained: "I think its because we see what we've been told we
see." Oh, now we see. Instead of seeing what we've been told we
should see, we should now see what Dan Brown wants us to see. See?
The most fascinating insights revealed in the "Prime Time Monday"
broadcast had actually very little to do with The Da Vinci Code
itself. Of far greater interest to thinking Christians were the
arguments made by liberal theologians and divinity school professors
that directly attacked the truthfulness of the Bible. This is, of
course, of much greater concern than the interpretation of Leonardo Da
Vinci's masterpieces.
In introducing this material, Vargas argued: "If you look at the
Christian Bible, it's clear that there are large holes in the stories
we have about the life of Jesus. The church chose four gospels that
tell his story in the New Testament. But there were other stories
written about Jesus, other gospels so controversial the Church ordered
them destroyed. And they were, except for one set of copies. And it
remained hidden in Egypt until about fifty years ago." Ah ha! The
conspiracy deepens.
Vargas' hyped introduction referred to the Nag Hammadi scrolls found
around the time of World War II. These Gnostic gospels were heretical
accounts of the life and ministry of Jesus. Early Christians were
aware of these spurious writings and rightly rejected them as
sub-biblical and erroneous.
Of course, Dan Brown and company are now ready to tout the Gnostic
gospels as even more reliable than the New Testament. These documents
and fragments are not older than the canonical Gospels, as is often
claimed. They are examples of the false gospels that were recognized
as such by the early church.
Father Richard McBrien, well known as a liberal Roman Catholic
academic, is ready to elevate Mary Magdalene to the status of an
apostle. As he claimed, "She really was every bit as much an apostle,
a companion, spokesperson for Jesus and his gospel as any of the men
were." Of course, this assertion denies the official teaching of the
Roman Catholic Church and the consensus of all branches of
Christianity throughout the last two thousand years.
Karen King of the Harvard Divinity School argues that the denial of
Jesus' marital status and the marginalization of Mary Magdalene are
the result of a male conspiracy to deny the equality of women and the
rightful place of female leadership in the church. Of course, since
she sees Christianity as something that human beings have made, she
would now call for the church to remake itself in a way more to her
liking.
"Sometimes religion is presented as something that's fixed and
stable," King explained, "where you have to accept it or reject it."
But, as you might now suspect, professor King does not see
Christianity as anything fixed or stable. To the contrary, as she
asserted: "But the fact is that religious traditions, and certainly
Christianity among them, is very diverse, very filled with
possibilities. And we need to take responsibility for the kind of
religion we make."
That final sentence is a quintessential statement of liberal theology.
According to professors like Karen King, we "make up" Christianity as
we go along. Now, informed by feminism and New Age spirituality, we
can remake Christianity and leave behind all that tired, stale,
orthodoxy that has been handed down to us.
The evidence against these revisionist forms of Christianity is
massive. Belief in the veracity and historical credibility of the New
Testament is the great dividing line between Christianity and this new
religion posing as Christianity. According to John 3:16, Jesus is
"the only begotten" Son of God. He came to redeem sinners by His
atoning death and resurrection in order that we might become adopted
as the sons and daughters of God. Jesus Christ did not marry and did
not beget any children of the flesh. Through faith, we become the
sons and daughters of God through Christ's accomplished work of
salvation.
All these revisionist versions of Christianity are rejections of the
Gospel handed down from the apostles and honored by faithful
Christians in every generation. Dan Brown has written a suspense
thriller that ABC News has taken as a serious historical argument.
They were able to find a host of liberal enablers to help push the
case and hype the story. But, in the end, we have to choose between
the Christ of the New Testament and the Christ of The Da Vinci Code.
Check it out for yourself, and read the New Testament. Truth is far
more interesting than fiction. The mythical Christ of The Da Vinci
Code is no match for the authentic Christ of the Bible.

France where they had Children. This was the basis for the claims of
the Merovingian dynasties that through marriage kept the bloodlines
pure eventually giving us the bloodlines of the Windsors. Once again
with a pedigree claiming the direct bloodline to the house of Judah.
Just how important is the lineage to the house of Judah?
Well the book of Genesis in the bible states in the 49th chapter that
Judah is like a lion and that Judah should be praised and that every
knee shall bow to the tribe of Judah.
"Judah thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be
in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall 1bow down
before thee. Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art

Three lions are on the English Royal crest. They represent the Lion of
Judah. In the ancient astrology Leo the lion is the ruler attuned to
the great power of the Sun. Now you know why the Royals expect you to
bow before them.
They believe that their bloodlines are from the same bloodline of
Christ.

I have heard from many of my British friends that the Monarchy means
nothing and that many view them as inconsequential to decisions or

I'm curious Martus, why is it so important to you whether or not Jesus
was married? Does it make Him too human? Too much like a real
person? You've always surprised me with your belief that the KJV that
anyone can buy at a local wal-mart is the same scripture as it was

I'd like to postulate a theory here if I may...
Perhaps the scripture today has been altered (GASP!) by popes and
other church leaders for the benefit of the institution of the church.
And, perhaps by removing everything in the scriptures which
references Jesus as being married, the church fathers were able to
make Him seem more God-like and less human. This would make sense,
since the church's main tactic for converting people has always been
through fear and coersion. People wouldn't fear a mere human, even if
that human was the human representation of God Himself. People,
according the church, will only follow if they are constantly assured
of a painful death and a damned eternity if they step out of line.

There is no NT evidence that Jesus was married. I don't think there
is much NT evidence against it, either. However, if Jesus was
married, one would expect to find some mention, if only _by
implication_ , of such an important biographical detail. For
example:
in John's Gospel, the dying Jesus bequeaths the Beloved Disciple
and Mary into each others' mutual care - chances are that if Jesus
was married, he would have issued a different set of final
instructions.
Paul uses the example of Peter's being married to support Paul's
own right to marry if he so wishes. Had Jesus been married, Paul
would surely have used Jesus' example instead of Peter's.
the Gospels mention people who travelled with Jesus, and oppose
them to his Galilean friends and relatives who did not believe in him
and so stayed at home. Had Jesus been married, logic would suggest
that his wife would have been identified as being in one of those two
groups - but "she" isn't.

what you've noted is the core and the gist of the anti-Christ Bush
administration. What we have in the current Administration and its
supporters is a form of Caesarian "Christianity" - which is not
Christianity at all, but a form of enculturated religion that
ensrhines and expedites all the materialistic, chauvanistic,
imperialistic, militaristic, and violent trends of secular culture.
Jesus' example demonstrated that the values of culture are seldom
the values of god. Jesus, as a member of a society oppressed by Roman
and priestly authority, was forced to make a response to that
oppression. Jesus' response - even his _messianic_ response - was
at most passive resistance. Moreover, his ethic was not to return
injury for injury. "Turn the other cheek," he said, "Forgive your
opponents. LOVE YOUR ENEMIES." The Bush administration violates

A 2002 Barna Research study revealed 86 percent of kids watch
supernatural-themed movies or television shows on a regular basis.
CBN.com – Do you believe in magic? Chances are your kids do. Experts
agree that the occult is casting a wider spell. The days of witch
hunts are long gone, and witches may, in fact, live in the house right
next door to your own.
The following two testimonies may sound like two Christians sharing
how they came to Christ. "I was looking for something to kind of fill
my heart. Something was missing in my life and I wanted to find
myself," said Maurice.
"Having been in my teens fairly recently, as you probably know it's a
very trying time where we are reaching out for truth, and truth
doesn't necessarily come to everybody in the same way," Austin said.
But these two teens didn't decide to follow Jesus. No, Austin Bowles
and Maurice Driver are talking about how they became devoted witches,
or Wiccans. Wicca is an occult religion that is quickly gaining
followers, especially among teenagers drawn by the lure of the
supernatural.
One teen-aged boy said, "It's something no one else can do. Kind of a
fantasy world for everyone."
One young woman in her early 20's said, "A lot of people are searching
for a higher kind of life, I guess. You know, being able to do things
that normal people can't do."
That comes as little surprise to Kathi Sharpe, a former witch who is
now a born-again Christian and the founder of Ex-Witch Ministries.
Sharpe said, "There's an element of being able to empower yourself
through magic that was one of the things that really attracted me."
Kathi believes plot elements that include magic and sorcery are what
have propelled Harry Potter to unprecedented fame. Harry Potter is the
star of the popular children's books and movies that first appeared in
1999. About 30 million books and two movies later, the Potter craze is
still in full swing.
"Harry Potter is a fiction book, but there are real occult elements in
it, and it serves to strike an interest in a lot of kids," Sharpe
said.
And while not everyone, including Christians, agrees with her on the
negative impact of Harry Potter, what can not be disputed is the fact
that sorcery and witchcraft are some of the hottest draws for young
people.
A 2002 Barna Research study revealed 86 percent of kids watch
supernatural-themed movies or television shows on a regular basis. And
nearly 66 percent of teens say they have participated in at least one
occult-oriented activity.
Experts say that interest in the occult is fed by video games,
Internet sites and popular TV shows like "Charmed" and "Angel." Both
programs regularly feature plots that revolve around demons and the
occult.
And a recent flurry of books about witchcraft are targeted and
designed especially for young readers. The book called Teen Witch:
Wicca for a New Generation offers how-to instructions for curious
kids. And it educates them about the beliefs and practice of sorcery.
The book has sold more than 150,000 copies.
Austin said, "A lot of these kids are reaching out for something that
is going to bring them God in a way… or the goddess in our terms."
Maurice said, "In Christianity, they are always saying ‘read the
Bible,' because it's like feeding your soul, it's like bread. It's the
same with Wicca. The more I read, the more I'm feeding my soul, the
more I meditate, the more I'm feeding my soul."
And parents of public school kids may not have a choice when it comes
to their child reading controversial books like Harry Potter. "Harry
Potter is required reading material in many schools now," Sharpe said.
The books have been promoted by Scholastic Incorporated, a curriculum
provider in public schools for the last 80 years, and a company that
reaches 32 million students a year.
And many Americans seem to agree with the idea of using Harry Potter
books in schools. One woman said, "It shouldn't matter what book it
is, so long as you get a child reading. You get them interested in one
book, that opens up the door for more books."
Another young woman said, "I think any kind of reading is great. So I
think that's definitely a good idea."
But Kathi Sharpe disagrees. She thinks that certain elements of
pop-culture, like the Harry Potter products, really do play a role in
stirring up interest in witchcraft among children.
And Maurice, as a practicing Wiccan, agrees. "Personally, I think it
invokes curiosity, I do think it attracts them," he said.
If you go to large, well-known bookstores, just a few yards away from
the Harry Potter display you will probably find a teen witch kit. One
box the CBN News found actually converts into an altar and comes with
a pentagram, a crystal and other tools, along with a how-to book — all
designed to help curious kids on their way to casting spells and
officially entering the world of witchcraft.
A young teen-aged girl said, "It would be neat to have [the witch
kit]. I mean you get everybody together at a party, ‘Look what I got.
Let's try it out.' It would be pretty cool."
One mother said, "I don't know if I'd buy it because you just said the
word witchcraft. I don't know, my son likes magic so, I don't know. If
he wanted it, I'd more than likely buy it for him."
Another mom said, "Well, I'm a Christian, and I want my kids to be
Christians. But, I don't know, I don't know anything about this... no,
learn spells, no. I wouldn't want my kids doing that."
So why are these types of things such a danger for kids? Kathi Sharpe
said, "The danger comes because it's Satan's great deception. Wicca is
really dressed up to look very pretty."
Kathi says the reality is that occult religions like Wicca lead people
away from what the Bible says about Jesus... that he is the only way
to God.
When asked if he thought Jesus was the only way to God, Maurice said,
"The only way to God, no. He's not the only way."
Austin said, "I believe it is a way. I don't believe it is the only
way to truth."
Austin and Maurice say teens today are looking for something
different. But Kathi believes different is just another way of saying
young people want whatever makes them happy for the moment, without
realizing the consequences of turning away from the truth of the
Bible.
"For example if they want to be gay or they have a friend who is gay,
well, Wicca affirms that and says it's okay to be gay," Sharpe said.
"Or if they tend to be pro-choice and they see that the church is
being anti-choice, well Wicca says it's okay to have an abortion."
Kathi says the bottom line is simple: what may seem like innocent fun
can be a doorway into a dark world. And parents need to arm their kids
with the truth.
"They need to be educating their kids," she said. "The same way
parents talk to their kids about alcohol, talk to them about drugs,
talk to them about pre-marital sex, they need to be telling their kids
about the occult."

You seem to have missed out the most obvious alternative, which is to tell
them that the drink made *you* sick, and then let them analyse it more
closely decide for themselves. Otherwise, you will also have to accept those
who've suffered horrible abuse at the hands of christians acting in exactly
the same way, and telling pagans that they *know* christianity is poisonous,
because it made *them* dangerously ill.

Men and women who have had sex-change operations will be able to marry
and adopt children for the first time under a change to the law to be
announced in the Queen's Speech on Wednesday.
The Gender Recognition Bill will allow transsexuals to tear up their
birth certificates, which record their original sexes, and apply for
fresh ones recording their new genders.
The move is expected to be backed in the House of Commons by a
majority of MPs but could encounter strong opposition in the Lords
from Tory peers and bishops concerned about allowing transsexuals to
marry in church.
The Bill will give unprecedented legal rights to the estimated 5,000
transsexuals in Britain, and have far-reaching implications for
pension rights and employment law.
But it will mean that a person who married before having a sex change,
who later applies for legal recognition of their new gender, will have
to divorce, because it is illegal for people of the same sex to be
married.
The Queen's Speech will, however, include a draft Bill allowing gay
people to have their relationships formally recognised through a civil
ceremony.
The Government has also decided not to allow women who become men to
inherit titles, such as hereditary peerages, and attached property.
The legislation has the full backing of the Home Office - which began
work on the issue under Jack Straw when he was Home Secretary - the

Campaigners who have been lobbying for legislation to allow people who
have changed their sex to marry legally were jubilant yesterday about
the prospect of a Bill. "We have been waiting for over 30 years for
this recognition," said Christine Burns of Press for Change. "We are
delighted that the Government has decided to act. This will make a
huge difference to thousands of people's lives in a practical way."
Under the current law, transsexuals, even those who have had
operations on the NHS, are not legally recognised in their new sex and
are therefore banned from marrying.
They have also been humiliated in job applications when their change
of sex becomes apparent on the presentation of a birth certificate.
Transsexuals had threatened to challenge the status quo under European
human rights legislation if the Government failed to act.
The Tories said they would allow a free vote on the Civil Partnerships
Bill. Alan Duncan, the only openly gay Tory MP, said that the issue
would be "a matter of conscience".
It is not known if Michael Howard, the Tory leader, who voted against
lowering the age of gay consent to 16, will back either Bill.
Shaun Woodward, a Labour MP whose sister, Lesley, had a sex change
operation, said the new legislation would be "a huge step forward in
the area of equality".
