if denominational tradition has more clout with the reader than Holy Scripture he should
not read on since the Word of God is not about to influence his thinking.

such it is with denominational tradition as it try's to teach a burning, eternal,
tormenting hell fire into which God throws unbeliever's, babies included, to be tormented
in pain for infinity.

while the wages of sin is death and the soul that sins will die, denominational tradition
says to the contrary. it says the soul of unbeliever's live on having been given eternal
life just like believer's are given, except these will endure conscience, painful torment
for eon's upon eon's upon eon's... even for the baby dying at birth guilty only of what we
call Original Sin.

there is no such thing as Original Sins plural any more than there is such a thing as
Purgatory. the magnitude of punishment far, far exceeds the one sin called Original
inherited from Adam. if this is your concept of a just God then one should cast away this
demonic concept of God and enter life with one eye and one hand.

here we have the Bible word " eternal. " the word is used in a variety of senses not
always meaning forever and forever. such is the case when we find the word in Ex. 21:6.
it means the span of a person's lifetime only and not eon's upon eon's.

the word is translated " ancient " in Pv. 22:28; it is translated " world "... the present
existence of this world in Ps. 73:12.

the word " eternal, " when describing the existence of God as being from everlasting to
everlasting is also found in such passages as in Ps. 90:2. it is this meaning that many
people place on the word " eternal " when it is found referring to the punishment God will
befit to unredeemed sinner's.

this meaning can not work at all. it is not tenable at all. this is because this
universe will be completely destroyed by God in the sense of the total annihilation of it.
this is to make way for the new heavens and the new earth. sin and death will be no more
as far as both the elect and non elect are concerned. the universe will be made over
again as we read in Isa. 65:17 and 2 Pet. 3:13.

there's not a human being who can fathom eternity. we can not fathom understanding
eternity past nor can we fathom understanding eternity future. we simply believe it as
evidenced by the faith of Jesus Christ given to those whom He calls unto life eternal.
as far as man is concerned, life eternal has a beginning. it begins the moment we are
given life by the grace and mercy of God. ( Jn. 6:47 ) but this present universe is set
for total annihilation... the unbeliever's " eternal " life is temporal... his eternal
life begins when he is born and ends when he dies.

this is what is meant in 2 Thes. chapter one where we read ... " Who shall be punished
with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord... " man's lifespan as being
referred to as " everlasting " has already been seen to be just that... his lifespan as in
Ex. 21:6. this is unredeemed man's " forever. " he can not possibly be tormented day and
night forever and ever as far as infinity is concerned because death and Hades both are
determined to be put to an end by God when this present universe is to be annihilated.

whether the word annihilation is used or not, this universe, fallen man and fallen angels
will be cast into the Lake of Fire which has to do with, and only with, this present
universe in its present state. curse old man joe all you desire, that's what i'm here
for, to share what the Bible has to say about many things, some of which are held in
belief because of denominational tradition and itching ears...

the plain teaching of Holy Scripture says in Rev. 20:10-15 that the devil, the beast, the
false prophet, death and Hades, as well as all who's names are not in the Book of Life
with be cast into the Lake of Fire and brimstone... " and they will be tormented day and
night forever and ever. "

there is no day and night in the new heavens and the new earth. forever ends when this
present universe is taken out of existence. yet, there are those who would describe their
understanding of the justice of God as One who throws little babies into torment forever,
for infinity, for the single sin of Adam being imputed to their account. the term ' day
and night ' refers to this present earth where day and night define days and nights... the
counting of time.

such can not be reconciled to an earth and a universe that will not exist anymore since
God will remove it in order to bring in the new heavens and the new earth in which it is
stated there are no more days... the presence of God will be it's Light.

some passages which speak to annihilation and do not define unbeliever's as having eternal
life... eternal life is what you need to burn in a hell for infinity...

Mt.10:28 " destroy " ( KJV ) # 622... to destroy fully = annihilation
Jn. 3:16 " perish " ( KJV ) # 622... to destroy fully = annihilation
2 Th. 1:9 " destruction " ( KJV ) # 3639... from the base of #622... to destroy fully =
annihilation

are not the sins against His elect removed from existence; annihilated by Christ ?

" As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall
come up no more. " Job. 7:9... the unbeliever does not have eternal life so as to burn in
a hell along with little babies dying in the sin of Adam.
