Jesse Jackson is why I support Obama

Never more than Jesse Jackson's comment was I more in support of Barack Obama. I
am an Italian-American S/A who grew up with blacks in my schools. Many of my
black friends didn't have fathers at home. I am, therefore, supportive of Barack
Obama's message to young black males to avoid fathering children they can't or
don't want to be fathers to. Barack's message also educates young black men to
avoid drugs.

That said, it was very sad to hear someone like Jesse Jackson criticize Barack
for educating black men about fathering children irresponsibly. Jackson, who
himself fathered an illegitmate kid and who had to be sued by the mother for
child support is not qualififed to criticize Barack. And it all too apparent
that Jackson is mad at Barack because Jackson is one of the "irresponsible black
fathers" to whom Barack refers to in his speeches to black men.

In all of Jackson's years on the street he has naver worked seriously to reduce
drugs in black neighborhoods. Nor has he worked to prevent broken homes or
irresponsible fatherhood. Jackson is a hypocrite and Jackson's words against
Barack can be viewed as nothing but an attempt to cover up his own Sins. And
let's not forget that when Jackson was involved in his extra-marital
relationship that produced his illegitate child he was at that same time
"counseling" Bill Clinton for his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

Kudo's to Barack for doing work that Jackson not only never did but exploited
for personal gratification.

As important as it is to work toward reducing or eliminating irresponsible
fatherhood, it is at least equally (maybe more) important to work toward
eliminating irresponsible motherhood! A woman who cannot afford to support
a child should *not* bring a child into the world!! When are Barack and
others going to begin to address this issue?

Never, because it is neither politically expedient nor profitable.
One cannot 'attack' women by putting them on the same footing as men
without incurring the wrath of N.O.W. and other politically powerful
sexists.
People will not elect a sensible person to anything; it's just too
radical. Even those who would elect someone with sense, when they start
telling the truth of the politics behind sex, reproduction, marriage,
divorce, custody and child support, it is just too unbelieveable. Few
will believe that their government is so cruel and inhumane to its own
citizens.

And Americans still think they are better than the rest of the world! LOL

America is a fraud, a lost idea that the last couple of generations gave
away.
