What is the command to check the status of a print job on a Unix-based
printer service?
a lpstat
b lpd
c lpq
d lpr
e lp
I choose (a) lpstat, but Petri's answer is (c) lpq...
I have never heard of LPQ!
Does anyone have any constructive comments??
Thanks in advance

LPQ is absolutely correct. You'll hear much more about it when you are
tackling TCP/IP. LPQ reports the items in the printer queue, you can also
manage documents in the queue with this utility.
