Was looking at this model, as I only want a very basic mobile. Texting and
occasional calling. I have no need for a more fancy one.

Any views on this model if anyone has used it?

I've not used this specific handset, but I've had other basic Nokias in
the past- the 1100, the really prehistoric 3310 and another whose model
no. I don't recall- and they are rugged as hell. I've had no problems
with call quality or battery life with the ones I mentioned; in general
you can't go wrong with one of these.
