So I am not going to continue with ALLtel or Verizon past august. Is
the phone worthless or is there someway I can use it on another
network? I will try and hack it if I need to

Thanks

If the network you want to use it on is CDMA, you are in luck!  If not,
your phone will make a nice paperweight!

My choice is Cellcom which is CDMA so that's good. Will the phone need
to be "fixed" by Cellcom or is it up to me and Thanks

I don't know!  I don't see any reason why it should not work on any CDMA
network.  There may be things I just don't understand that could prevent
it working.  Your best bet is to ask Cellcom if your phone is usable on
their network.

You may need to "Unlock" your Phone. I have a RAZR V3, connected
through ATT. last year we used the phone, with a new SIM in it in
Ireland for about a month....worked fine there on O2. I believe that
the O2 network was 3G, but I could be wrong....The ATT store wanted to
send me to a third party to unlock my phone, but I discovered that ATT
will give you the code for your phone if you call and ask...
