iPhone widgets?

Any idea when new iPhone widgets will be available for download?  The iPhone widgets website lists those under development, but I don’t think they can be downloaded yet--

Jean, you don't need to download them. Just click on the links to see

I already found this, but how exactly do I download the widgets so I can use
them on my iPhone? There's no explanation how to do that. I would imagine
that you have to download to a computer first.

I've never owned an iPod, so I'm a newbie at "syncing."

the "concept" of downloading dies with iphone widgets, you simply go to
the "widget" web address and it comes right up on your screen. cool!
