WHEN WE CAN'T SEE THE FOREST FOR THE TREES

"ELEMENTARY, MY DEAR WATSON"

I realize I'm NO Sherlock Holmes but I think I've solved
the mystery -- and the motive -- as to why Adam Lanza
massacred those 20 innocent children and six teachers at
Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT, on Dec. 14.
<
I'm amazed -- truly amazed -- that, to my knowledge,
no law-enforcement official has ever mentioned this
distinct possibility.
<
I believe that Adam, 20, bore neither hatred nor animosity
toward those toddlers and the adults. Rather, I think
he did what he did out of his concern for their welfare
and well being because he apparently was convinced there
would be a mind-boggling catastrophe on Dec. 21.
<
I believe that Adam undoubtedly was caught up in the
drum-beating of the Doomsday mania --- to occur
exactly one week later -- and didn't want the Little
Sweetheart to go through it.
<
His mom -- we later learned -- was a Doomsday fanatic
and, naturally, her irrational fear of an impending
disaster -- the end of the world as we know it -- certainly
must've rubbed off on him, which undoubtedly explains
why he ended her life (and his) as well.
<
I believe Adam didn't want these first-and second-graders
-- and their teachers -- to experience the horror of what
he seemed convinced was sure to come (especially so,
in the previous month or two, when a few TV networks
were rattling sabres).

As for those 20 Little Ones and their teachers, don't fret
a moment about them. They're in a happier place and
eventually will be reunited with ALL of their loved ones.

I wanted to add that incredibly beautiful, heart-warming
video of Ana Grace Marquez-Greene, one of the newest
angels, singing while her brother played the piano.

I was disappointed to see that it's no longer available on
YouTube and can readily understand that it undoubedly
was removed at the request of her family.

Mom and Dad, we -- the people of the world -- adore your
wonderful, sweet, beautiful daughter, truly an angel
if there ever was one.
<
Please allow that video to be available to one and all, and
reconsider denying us such a wonderful memory. We all
cherish a constant reminder of what a Little Angel looks like.
