Subject: Double Debuts for Lotus at Pebble Beach - NICE!
From AW
****

Lotus has a big presence at this week's Pebble Beach Concours
d'Elegance events, with the Evora GTE Road Car concept making its
world premiere and the limited-production Matte Black Final Edition
of the Exige making a U.S. debut.

The Lotus Evora GTE Road Car concept will be shown for the first time
at the McCall's Motorworks Revival event on Wednesday night at the
Monterey Jet Center. The GTE race car was developed to compete in the
Le Mans 24-hour endurance race and for overall success in the GTE
motorsports category.

The road-car concept version makes more than 420 hp. On Thursday, it
will move to the Lotus exhibit on Peter Hay Hill near the Lodge at
Pebble Beach, where it will stay through midday Saturday.

Alongside it will be the Lotus Exige Matte Black Final Edition, of
which only 25 copies will be built for sale in North America. Power
was upgraded in the Exige to 256 hp. Black Alcantara sport seats
offset the matte black exterior paint finish.

The GTE road car will move on Saturday to the Concept Car Lawn for
display through the remainder of the weekend, while the Exige will
stay put at Peter Hay Hill through Aug. 21.
