friday night mewsings

kitten, who has been weepy with memories for days, sniffles a bit,
blasts the air around her with a sanitizing ray to protect everyone
else from the H1N1 germs that are kicking her ass and raises a
glass.

"Crap...my brain won't put words together...I haven't been able to
string a sentence since the middle of October...had a mild collapse
(fibroflare, pre-flu, and emotional turmoil) that sent me home from
work on the 19th of October and I haven't been back since. Got H1N1
from my gaming group which flattened me and set up a couple of
different opportunistic infections...I haven't been able to talk since
last Tuesday...somebody hit the jackpot when they threw that penny in
the wishing well and, to add insult to injury, I had two kidney stones
removed on Nov. 2.

Just thought you all would want to know why I have been so flaked out
lately."

at that, kitten goes back to her corner and curls up...

Kathy contributes another batch of chicken noodle soup and one of her
grandmother's quilts, and also offers a snuggly cat for kitten.
