JOEY
The biggest problem that we have at community college
is golf carts driving all over campus.
Liability insurance premiums are very high because all
pedestrians including students AND TEACHERS are at a very
high risk of being run over and squashed
whenever a golf cart is being driven on a lawn or a sidewalk!
Some of the streets are dangerous for pedestrians like near
the new science building where there is no separate raised
sidewalk for pedestrians and golf carts are being driven
all over the place.
This very expensive liability insurance for golf carts
is equivalent to ALL GOLF CARTS ON CAMPUS LITERALLY BURNING
MONEY AS THEIR FUEL!
Even a 10 per cent REDUCTION in golf cart driving could
help community colleges afford a lot of things including new
very expensive computers that fully support virtual box
in CE101 and CE103.
Construction of additional proposed new buildings could
also be completed.
Two of the golf carts are busy transporting LAZY STUDENTS
across the campus. The State of California initially
planned on one part time golf cart to transport HANDICAPPED
STUDENTS ONLY across this campus.
Then UNION DRIVERS greatly expanded that one part time job for
one driver into two full time jobs for two drivers. This
unfairly increases risk of injury to pedestrians and greatly
increases liability insurance premiums. California's
community colleges are already insolvent because of too much
golf cart driving.

Look! Fresh golf cart tracks!!
CHRIS
It looks like a golf cart was recently there. There is
no erosion in those golf cart tracks.
GREG
There used to be grass growing on this lawn near CE101
and CE103 before golf carts started driving all over it.
CHRIS
More than half of the grass is gone now because it was
destroyed by constant golf cart driving.
GREG
If even half of those LAZY STUDENTS who are not handicapped
who have been unfairly riding golf carts on sidewalks and lawns
on campus STOP DOING IT and walk across campus it could help
BALANCE THE BUDGET so that the community college
student FEE INCREASE can still
be reduced or possibly even CANCELED!!
