I think you may mean "alias".  This is a "shortcut" key stroke.  Like
C (enter) will start the circle command.  You can create your own
shortcut key strokes with your own abbreviations, as long as they
don't conflict with AutoCAD's aliases.  I used TR as the Trim command
alias.  You might find instructions in your manual under menu design.
Another way would be to contact your closest community college and see
if they offer AutoCAD classes, and if they offer CAD Menu Design
courses.  AutoLISP is another class you can take.
