A basic locking cabinet can secure valuable papers or personal items
but it will not protect them from theft or fire damage. Only safes can
provide a superior level of protection for documents, jewelry, guns and
personal items. Computer data that would be difficult or impossible to
duplicate if lost. Home and business security systems require the
addition of security safes to eliminate the possibility of data and
document loss due to fire and climate disruptions.

Most of this thread doesn't make sense, but coming from the sucko
company's spam feeder that is not surprising at all.

What good is an alarm? The easy assumption is that whoever is taking
the safe isn't going to care, they will grab it and run so to speak.

If you want it secure, bolt the friggin thing down well, or get a safe
that is heavy enough that it can't be easily moved.

I used to own a store and in my center 7 out of the 9 stores were hit within
the past 4 years, about half have alarms. What the crooks did was a smash
and grab. They don't care if the alarm goes off - they know that they have
about 4 - 10 minutes before the cops come, on average. An alarm trigger
under the safe is a TOTAL CRAP IDEA!
