Gonna go see it Saturday, if it's still there.

My opinion is that you wouldn't be going to see it if
it wasn't a good price/value item. Of course it's
hard to put a price on the value of babe magnetism.

That's a first year Evo, and it is worth the asking price. I note some
small custom modifications, all of them cosmetic in nature - front and
rear axle caps, lotsa chrome, relocated turn signals - and a fresh paint
job. This leads me to believe that a.) the owner really took care of
it, or b.) it was wrecked. I would check the frame and engine carefully
for signs of damage, such as new welds, and also make sure the frame is
not out of line in any way. Hope everything checks out well - that's a
cool ride.

I can confirm its babe magnetism.

I'm feeling an unaccountable need to drape myself semi-clothed over that
Harley and whomsoever owns it.

Gods damn it. Years of feminism, and yet the sight of chrome and
powerful metal makes me all gooey.

Best wishes

For Sandy's "Old Guys In Leather" collection?

I think my son has one of me teaching the elder grandkid
the basics of sk8ing this summer. Ever see a 67-yr-old
grandpa doing shove-its in the driveway? How about 30 meter
instep drives into the far corner? I ain't *that* old, do0d!

That settles it. I don't care if it's bent like a hairpin.

No, wait! That's what *you're* supposed to say...

Ok, Ok, another $75 for a sissy bar, just to keep you from
sliding off to your doom.

I can't really tell from the pics, but I'm guessing that it has an
aftermarket or later model carb. The air cleaner fits a twin-cam model
fuel injector, or an FXR/FLH style carb. Of course, he may have just
changed the backing plate, but I don't know anyone who ever has.

Come see me this spring, and you can drape yourself wherever you like.
And I already have a sissy bar, as well as a custom Mustang seat with
extra soft padding.

All factors pretty strange for a bike with less than 5k on it
in 5 years. Be nice if it's just well-kept driveway jewelry
and being sold for peanuts. Suspect it was dumped, tho.
I'll report.

An interesting choice of words: gooey.

Now there is an invitation!

Two bike riders, for whom in both cases the safety catch is off,
throwing themselves down the highway at speed.

What could possibly go wrong?

Best wishes
