Impressionism in Literature?

Hi, in my senior AP English class, I, along with 3 other people, have been
given an assignment. We are to prepare a slide show presentation about
impressionism in literature. I am well aware of impressionism in art, such as
Claude Monet, but do any of you have ANY idea where I can find information on
impressionism in literature, because on the internet all I can find is
impressionism relating to art. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Find Kenneth Lynn's biography of Ernest hemingway.
2. Find a copy of Ernest's Hemingway's story Two Big-Hearted River.
3. Read #2 above.
4. Look up Cezanne in the index of #1 above.
5. Read about Hemingways attempt to do with words on paper what
Cezanne did with paint on canvas.
6. Quad erat demonstratum.
