The other noticable difference between you and LaFontaine is that Don had
talent. I'm still trying to figure out what your excuse is. I've heard
board operators with better voices.
Don LaFontaine died from a lifetime of alcohol abuse, and I'm still
making money as a Voice-Over Actor and am very healthy.

I actually enjoyed the translation from book to movie. Because it was
a B-movie, I doubt there would have been the budget to do the muliple
locations King used in the novel The Running Man. It was also a
pretty good casting decision to use Richard Dawson as the host of the
game show. I think only Wink Martindale could have pulled off the

Since the thread seemed to have rather lost all sense, I will say something

The Running Man film is extremely different to the book, more so than any
other story by Stephen King.
Just for starters, the book is about a man whose daughter urgently needs
medical care and the man goes in for a game show to get money to avoid his
