During a debate in Toronto moderated by director David Cronenberg,
Stephen King admitted to have started musing on the possibility to
revisit the character of Danny Torrance, that he wrote about in "The
Shining". Danny, now in his 40s, might be seen working in a hospital
for the terminally ill in upstate New York and betting on the horses
on the side.

The description of how Danny's life turned out actually sounds a bit
like one of the characters from the TV series "Heroes."
