I'd say that I quite liked Nightwatch on Radio 4 (fifth and final
episode having been broadcast a short while ago).
Some omissions (the whole business in the Particulars' cell-block being
skimmed over[1] and no real "dog botherer" background stuff, amongst
other things) but a worthy production, IMHO, with most of the voices
(though not Detritus) compatible with my personal imagery and the
necessary 'sanitation' and abridgement required for radio largely
unobtrusive.
I think it adds well to the rest of the radio productions (M, WS, G!G!,
SG and OYCSM, I think is the list) though does make me wonder if rights
issues might eventually (if not already) raise their ugly heads.
Still, the bibliography is steadily being given an airing in other
media, which is exciting.
[1] Quite understandable, given the dark nature of the scene that they
obviously decided to imply much less graphically than the original text.

I'm also enjoying the dramatisation, and look forward to allowing myself
to read the book again now that it has finished.
You missed out on a couple of the radio productions though. All three of
the 'Johnny' books have been done (though I can't find my copy of J&tB
anywhere), as has Truckers, WFM and TAMAHER. You obviously need to pay
closer attention to the 'Kids' section of Radio 7 :-)

Me too (haven't heard the final episode yet, will be Listening Again).
Phillip Jackson makes such a perfect Vimes that I am now convinced that, if
Poirot hadn't been poncing around going on about his little grey cells,
Japp would have solved all those cases through sheer bloody graft.

You forgot TAMAHER.
(And you mentioned the R4 version of WS, which means I am now obliged to go
into my rant about how they completely screwed up the ending...)

Actually, I think I might even have announced TAMAHER's last appearance
on the [Big|Little] Toe thingy it was on, on this very newsgroup, but
had utterly forgotten. ;)
The trouble with the Toe stuff is that they don't tend to advertise well
outside of their own slot[1] /and/ unlike most other BBC7 programmes
they don't repeat themselves in a second slot either, making it
difficult (for example) to keep an eye on the afternoon (older kids')
slot /and/ some of the Radio 4 stuff I like to listen to.
Off-group, I've been told that TCOM/TLF /might/ have been broadcast
(possibly read, rather than acted) on Women's Hour (R4), some time ago.
Same issue regarding publicity, I suppose.
[1] Ok, you can go to their web-pages and see what's coming, but even
when I /knew/ TAMAHER was coming, from catching the announcement on Go
For It one Sunday[2], it was almost the day of its (early morning)
broadcast before it acknowledged properly, IIRC.
[2] Go For It annoys me, even though it's no longer presented by the
"cool! great!" guy that Dead Ringers ripped off while he was presenting,
and I /usually/ turn to something like Radio 2 when driving home at
that time. Not sure why I didn't this time round.

I really enjoyed this series as well. I had just finished reading The
Night Watch, when I found out it was on radio. The only issue I had
was the assassination could've been done better. Throw in some
background noise, maybe even put words in Winder's mouth to highlight
that the room was crowded yet no one took any notice.
I hope the beeb do more from the Discworld series.
