Stone bottles and winking.

Hey all,

Haven't posted in a while, group seems slow, so here goes....

Claire talks about drinking from stone bottles all the time, mostly
ales and beers. Are they fired clay, pottery, crock wear, something
like that? I know they can't be carved stone, right? Is it like the
little brown jug from moonshine fame?

Also, if Jamie can't wink, how does he give the dreaded, "narrow one
eye", look when he's puzzling something out?

Just curious.

And I also wonder how Jamie keeps cracking one eye open when he's got both
closed. You'd think that skill would go hand in hand with being able to
close one when both are open :P
