Deferred Mothers Day

Had a lovely visit from youngest son and family yesterday. I had
deferred the Mothers Day visit as I wasn't up to enjoying it. I stole
their thunder slightly as it was also son's birthday, so I greeted them
with a cake with lit candles....and a rendering (meaning to tear apart)
of Happy Birthday.
Usual interaction with grandchildren and then off out for lunch. The
afternoon was spent enjoying some songs by grandson David and a
neighbours lass who has a beautiful voice also.
