Can you find out the status of Oregon author Jean Auel's final book in
the Earth's Children series?

Portland resident Jean Auel's series is best known for the meticulous
research the author does and is most famous for the movie made for the
first title in the series, "The Clan of the Cave Bear," which came out
in 1980.
Other titles followed: "The Valley of Horses," 1982; "The Mammoth
Hunters," 1985; "The Plains of Passage," 1990; and "The Shelters of
Stone," 2002.
She's still working on the sixth title and there really is no other
word on it than that. Except that we read she is considering a seventh
title to end the series.

Movie? I've never seen it or heard of it! Ofcourse, I am a late
adoptor of Jean's books (I've started reading them 3 years ago...), so
that may have to do something with it.
Is the movie available anywhere?
Oh yeah, I also would love to see a sixth book!
