A Festshrift for Tom Shippey

One of the better pieces of news to return home to after a week of being
off-line was the announcement by Jason Fisher that there will be a
'Festschrift' for Tom Shippey coming out some time during the next year.

The list of contents that Jason gives is not healthy reading if you have
problems with impatience - I'd rather hold this book tomorrow than next
year, but at least I know that I /will/ hold it ;-)

Much can be said of Tom Shippey and his contribution to the study of
Tolkien's work in particular, but I will merely say that this tribute in
my opinion is richly deserved, and it looks to be also worthy of Shippey.
