Subject: Occupy Wall st. Will Lead to Revolutionary changes - end of the old order/corrupt political & economic system
The new occupation movement is a movement for the people and by the
people. The time has come for real democracy to manifest.
Totalitarianism & Oligarchy disguised as democracy has failed
miserably!  Fools prefer corrupt status quo with it's corrupt economy
and political system that is controlled by corporate lobbyists who are
frightened by the very idea of Democracy. We're fighting for a society
where everyone is important, where the vote of a rich man carrys no
more weight the vote of a poor man.

As we will see, true democracy's emphasis is on the commonwealth! That
is what democracy looks like.  Those who support the old failed system
are destined to lose miserably. The blind who are led by the blind,
criticize what they don't understand and are moved by fear and
ignorance.

These days are marking the end of the world, as we've come to know it.
Thank goodness!

Voices from Occupy Wall Street: 'We're Fighting for a Society Where
Everybody is Important'

http://www.commondreams.org/video/2011/10/07-0

Occupy Wall Street is an ongoing demonstration protesting against
socio-economic inequality and corporate greed in America. The movement
was started by the organization Adbusters and has now spread to over
80 cities across the country.

"We are sick of the corporate political parties deciding the agenda of
America... Anyone who tries to
co-opt it will be laughed at and heckled. There's no one person who
can speak of the occupation
movement, it's a movement of people's democracy in the square."

Long Live the New American Revolution!

The stitched-together movement that is overflowing from the Wall
Street protest can have a huge impact if it holds firm against a
malevolent corporatism and the political hucksters who dangle promises
of “hope and change.”

Modern capitalism has reached the end of its rope.
Immanuel Wallerstein explained his theory to RT
“Modern capitalism has reached the end of its rope. It cannot survive
as a system... And what we are seeing is the structural crisis of the
system. The structural crisis goes on for a long time. It really
started more or less in the 1970s...  It is not a crisis of a year or
of a short moment, it is the major structural unfolding of a system.
And we are in transition to another system and, in fact, the real
political struggle that is going on in the world that most people
refuse to recognize is not about capitalism – should we have or should
we not have it – but about what should replace it.”

Famine is the obscenity!
http://act.one.org/sign/hungry_no_more_us

Subject: Fight the Famine, Feed the Future
Drought is inevitable, but famine is not. The current crisis in the
Horn of Africa is the result of a tragic combination of factors that
are man-made, including abnormally high food prices, lack of
governance and security in Somalia, and a historic lack of investment
in long-term agricultural development in the Horn. Over the past few
years, we lost the political will and public support necessary to
prevent the famine – and its causes. As a consequence, tens of
thousands of children have died.
We have also missed the opportunity to help 200 million people from
poor farming families lift themselves out of poverty. Communities in
Africa can cope with droughts and natural disasters. But we need
donors to put resources toward seeds, irrigation and teaching farmers
new growing techniques. We need leaders to invest in early warning
systems and national social safety net programs.
Congress can help keep our commitment to farmers in developing
countries by fully funding Feed the Future— a life-changing USAID
initiative that is investing in long-term agricultural development and
could help put an end to famine for good.
Please sign our petition to Congress calling on them to fund this
vital program:

The crime of making Americans aware of their own history
Is history getting too close for comfort for the fragile little
American heart and mind? Their schools and their favorite media have
done an excellent job of keeping them ignorant of what their favorite
country has done to the rest of the world, but lately some
discomforting points of view have managed to find their way into this
well-defended American consciousness.

Only if you think teaching people how to treat public property is
Revolutionary....   thing is that my MOM did that for me when I was a kid.
