What are your choices for scary, suspenseful, and icky movies?
I was thinking of Jagged Edge, and one that I cannot bring myself to
watch... When A Stranger Calls. LOL, it seems like the epitome of horror. I
heard what it was about in high school I think it was, but I won't watch it.
What are your choices for SCARY movies. Not gory, I can deal with that, but
scary, where you can't stop thinking about it. Ya know?

Whatever you do, stay away from the Pseudo-documentary of this film (I'm
draw a blank on the name right now) starring John Malkovich. It was a
STUPID movie!

I went to see this movie when it came out, I couldn't have been much

hitting her with Annie with the Typewriter, started jumping up and down in
the aisles, rooting for the James Caan to "Knock the fucking shit out of

Have been watching all the classic Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolfman and
Mummy movies on AMC all week. Pretty cool seeing all them old time
movies in black-n-white. Hell, ya can't do better than Lon Chaney, Bela
Lugosi and Vincent Price can ya? Also watched Blair Witch as it was on
TV monday night I think. The only other movies I can think of that we
watched are Requiem for a Dream and Starved, neither was very scary but
both were very wierd.

If that's the one I'm thinking of, I made the mistake of watching it with my
son, 5 at the time, IIRC. I assumed that it would be just a spoof of horror
movies. I had no idea that there would be so much sexual innuendo in it,
yikes! I ended up covering his eyes throughout half the movie, I think.

Have a great day!

The only film that disturbs me is Stephen King's 'It' because of
Pennywise. King takes a figure normally associated with children,
happiness and laughter and subverts this traditional role. I don't
like to watch the clown at all.

I really don't remember what rating it was, but I would assume R, yeah. Come to
think of it, I don't think I really even checked. A schlocky spoof of horror
movies is not the kind of thing you go looking for a heavy-duty rating on.

Have a great day!

My step-grandma let me watch The Exorcist when it came on tv when I was
7 years old. I would not sleep in the same room with a Ouija (sp?)
board or even sleep on my back (afraid the bed would start jumping

Do you more closely identify with "Mother" or "Comfortably Numb"?

I loved it. I also found it to be unusual for King, in that it had a rather
happy ending.

with very wicked claws reaching up toward the boat.

I used to have the whole "The Wall" album practically memorized 20 years ago or
so. I can still remember quite a bit of it.

Have a great day!

They used a calf's eye for that, I understand. The calf was, off course,
dead.
