One thing that bugged me about the start of the last battle when Home Fleet went up against Haven. With the sheer number of missiles flying around in the initial salvo, surely several well placed nukes timed correctly to explode just as the opposing missiles reached the same point could have taken out a lot of them ? Is there any rumors yet as to which way David is going to go in the new book ? (Due for release July '10 I note as well yipee!!) I can see a several of possibilities - 1. SLN and RMN go to war. As a result Manticore sign peace treaty with Haven and thats them out of the story for a while at least until Mesa get s around... more »

Hi i am looking for ebooks of the Honor Harrington series. I already own the first 14 books as PDF. Have you any idea where to get the newer books? I own all books, but i would prefer them as pdfs.

I'm thinking that the Safehold series is turning out to have the potential to turn into another major success for David Weber, comparable to the Honor Harrington series. I haven't been able easily to find through Google searches anything about whether there's any special reason Tor is publishing these books... more »

Pronounciation question on "In Fury Born"/"Path of the Fury"

This is a silly question, probably, but bear in mind I'm not a native speaker. What is the correct pronounciation of Alice's last name, DeVries? In my head, I've been pronouncing it much like the diamond seller "de Beers"... (It was a long time before I found out that "Taliaferro" is supposed to be pronounced the same way as "Tolliver")... more »
