Hi All,

How come Jean-Calude Nesbitt doesn't appear to have come to the
attention of Kevin Usher yet? This guy is the head of security for
Haven's State Department and he's let his principle be waxed, even
though it is, as far as we can determine, a completely genuine
accident, and he's going to be the guy that knows most about the
Secretary of State's doings surely?

I know he's got a cousin in the Cabinet, but I can't see that worrying
Usher if he'd got any idea he ought to be looking?

Since he is head of security he's probably already been checked out
completely to make sure he wasn't part of the prior regime. Apparently his
cover held up through whatever analysis it was put through, and I imagine it
was a very thorough one.

I'd love to see Himself do a book from the Republic of Haven's viewpoint,
involving the president, Theisman, Foraker, and others. Something on the
idea of Storm from the Shadows. A real look at the Republic of Haven from
the inside. Perhaps covering the years from Theisman shooting St Just to the
present.

You get above a certain level, and the security checks should never
really stop. Great betrayals can only come from people who are highly
trusted. When betrayals as great as that of the former Secretary of
State are discovered, *everyone* associated with them should
automatically go onto the suspect list.
