I check in every day. I went back to MereLewis. More action, but not
as piquant as here on our best days. :) Also, beginning of a new
church year. Lots to do!

Best,

Search Google. It's a moderated group. You'll get posts via e-mail.

It's not a newsgroup but a mailing list. Look at
http://members.aol.com/merelewis.

Just checked back in after another long absense. I got sick of being
flamed for agreeing with Lewis, on a newsgroup devoted to his
writings. Ironic, huh?

Do you mean *this* newsgroup? Sounds rather unlikely - but I can't think of
any other actual newsgroups (as opposed to lists, Yahoo groups, etc.) devoted
to CSL. In any case, welcome back.

On the whole, I'd say that this is one of the most pleasant groups and lists I
either participate or lurk in, not excepting many explicitly Christian ones.

Welcome back.

Sorry if you were flamed; I don't know exactly how sorry, because I
couldn't find the incidents in Google.

In avoiding future flames, it may be helpful to restrain the temptation to
start a message with "I notice that in your antisupernaturalist rant,..."
particularly when the previous message was not any sort of personal attack
or provocation. Just a thought, and I wouldn't have brought it up if you
hadn't expressed a dislike for flames.

Hi Keith!
Great to see you again. What are you up to these days?
What newsgroup devoted to Lewis writings were you posting to, may I
ask?

We were just discussing Bible translations. The traffic has been slow
here this fall unlike past years I can remember. Perhaps you can
start something.

Blessings,
Ann

But that happens to me all the time! Well, not flamed very often. Oh,
for the days of Cosmic Fluff.

Anyway, feeling like I'm the only person who agrees with Lewis on
something, or has even read some parts.... :-)

Glad to see you back.

I wish I'd read more parts. Never have gotten around to TWHF, which I
imagine I'd like very much.

Very kind. I don't actually know how much time I'll have to devote to
it, but.... :-)
