Shadoe and Mrs. Wolfe and the rest of the Brian Lumley.com crew ( I
guess I'll speak for the newsletter contributors) would like to wish
everyone out there a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy New
Year! (Choose your faith) And don't forget Happy Boxing Day for all you
Canadians out there, whatever that day might be!!

Let's all look forward to another great year of new Horror and Fantasy
from the one and only Grand Master of Horror, Brian Lumley!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!

Thanx, I plan o having a good Boxing Day :)
Boxing Day is December 26th and nope I do not know what it is for except
that Canadians have always celebrated it (mainly to go to the stores for
Boxing Day Sale methinks :)

Merry Christmas All!! (and/or any other season's greetings!)

Boxing Day first appeared 1833 as the day the master of the household gave
gifts, generally of money, to servants, tradespeople, and others of humble
life. These presents came to be known as Christmas boxes.

Of course, on Starside, Boxing Day is when a Wamphyri Lord boxes up a tender
young morsel of a Szgany child and has it delivered with a big happy red bow to
his most favored lieutenant.

As the popular Wamphyri medley goes:

It came upon the midnight clear,
That glorious box with a child not old,
From a Lord's desire to keep my loyality
and pretend his leech heart is pure gold.
I declare no hate, nor treasonous thoughts,
toward my good Lord and his parasitic Beast.
For my mind is filled with the lust and joy
to hear THIS Wamphyri lieutenant feast.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!!
